Surf now has a full file manager. • Import and export files, and organise them into folders • Tags, favourites, and search across your whole library • Compress and uncompress, rename, move, and copy • A private, locked area for files you would rather keep aside • Recently Deleted, so a mistake is not permanent • Everything syncs across your devices with iCloud, and works with the Files app Also in this release: find on page, per-site settings for ad blocking and text size, and a faster, steadier Reader.

Make each site behave the way you want it to. • Site settings — allow ads on a site that needs them, and let Surf remember desktop mode or a different text size for that site. • Text size for web pages, with a default you set once in Settings. • Reading list — save an article and read it later, images and all, even with no signal. • Shortcuts and Siri — search the web, open a page, or start a private tab from anywhere on your iPhone. • Ad-blocking exceptions are free, so a site that needs ads to work is one tap away from working. • Refinements and fixes throughout.

A more capable, better-behaved browser. • Your tabs are back where you left them — Surf now reopens them when you relaunch. • Site icons throughout tabs, bookmarks, history and Top Sites. • Website pop-ups, confirmations and sign-in prompts now work properly. Pages that ask you to confirm something, or that need a username and password, behave as they should. • Search your history and your bookmarks. • Close all tabs at once, and reopen a tab you closed by mistake. • Open links in Surf from other apps. • Websites can no longer ask for your camera or microphone. • Haptic feedback now follows the setting in Settings. • Fixes throughout, including a find bar that could be left on screen after closing tabs.

Browser & Files upgrades • Find on Page — search the page you're reading. • Reader — strip an article down to clean, readable text, with adjustable size, light/sepia/dark themes and an optional serif font. • Request Desktop Site — per-tab toggle when you want the full site. • Picture in Picture and background audio for media you've downloaded. • Folders in Downloads to keep your files organised. • A Face ID-locked Private area for downloads you'd rather keep out of sight. • Refinements and fixes throughout.

Downloads & Files • Download files right from the web — long-press a link and tap "Download Linked File," or open a direct file link, and Surf saves it for you. • A new Downloads area to manage what you've saved: play videos and audio in the built-in player, preview PDFs and documents, and share, rename, or import files. • Downloads keep going in the background while you browse. • Assorted refinements and fixes.
