A chore app that builds responsibility without tracking every single chore. Less stress, less nagging, better behavior.
I’m a father of 3 kids and an iOS developer.
I built this app because my wife and I didn’t have time to approve every single chore or assign points all day - and I didn’t want another subscription.
Other chore apps expect you to assign and approve points for everything - check photo proof, tap on your phone to approve, tap on your watch…With multiple kids, that quickly becomes hundreds of chore approvals every month: 3 kids × 7 chores per day = 630 chore approvals per month.
That didn’t feel realistic.
I wanted something that gives structure without constant micromanagement.
There is research in psychology that shows assigning roles helps kids grow into more responsible individuals over time.
• Instead of tracking every chore, SuperParent uses roles. You assign roles like Good Student, Helper, Athlete, or Good Brother.
• Each role has clear expectations—like doing homework on time, bringing materials, and studying for tests.
• You set rewards, inspired by game levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. You decide what each level gives.
• Then you simply observe your day—what’s happening, how your kids behave, and whether things get done.
• If something stands out, you add a quick note. These notes show up during grading.
• Once or twice per week, you have a quick “grading moment”—sit together and grade each role using A–F, like in school.
• Then you tap “Grade Now,” and the app calculates the score and reward level.
• More roles and good grades unlock higher rewards.
• The report helps you reflect together.
• Kids start to compete to get the highest score. There’s a short intentional delay while the reward is calculated, with music playing, and then they receive their reward. They redeem it and continue working toward the next one.
Daily rewards keep things moving. No negative notes? They earn a reward—like 30 minutes of screen time.
The app works for both younger kids and teens — just assign different roles by tapping “Active” for the ones you want to use for each child.
