No limits, and a summary worth sharing The caps on groups, expenses and photos are gone, and everything that used to sit behind Pro is now open to everyone. On top of that, a trip you have closed can be shared in one tap. — Everything is open now No more ceiling at two groups, fifty expenses or five photos — add as many as you need. Exporting the report to CSV or PDF and folding a multi-currency trip into a single currency are available to everyone too, with nothing to buy. — Share how the trip ended One button in the group menu builds a card: who owes whom, the total, the dates and a QR code to join. It goes out as a picture with the text alongside, so anyone who sees it can jump into the group without typing anything. — A proper welcome The first launch no longer drops you straight onto a sign-in screen. Three short slides explain what the app does before you decide to sign in — and you can skip them at any point. — Faster and tidier The app starts noticeably faster, and someone removed from a group no longer turns into a question mark in older expenses.

Built for bigger groups Splitting with twenty people used to fight back. This release fixes that — and cleans up how amounts and names look everywhere. — Big groups, finally The payer list now scrolls, so you can pick anyone — before, past a dozen members the names simply ran off the screen. “All / None” splits a taxi between two people out of twenty in one tap, and the Return key adds the next member instead of closing the keyboard. — Nothing gets lost Typed amounts survive when you uncheck someone, the member list survives a stray tap outside the form, and a freshly added expense no longer claims it was edited. — Reads right everywhere Plurals now work in all 30 languages, wording no longer assumes your gender, long names stay readable instead of breaking mid-word, and every amount uses one consistent format.

Fixes & polish A small release with a lot of useful fixes. Offline is more reliable, sync is more precise, defaults are smarter. — Offline, no compromises You can now do everything without a connection: add and remove members, change a group's currency or cover, delete a group or leave it. The queue catches up with the server the moment you're back online. — One account, every device The profile screen has a new "Sign-in methods" section. Link a second method (Apple, Google) and you'll be able to sign in to your account from any device. Invaluable when you switch phones. — A dozen small things Default currency now matches your country from the very first launch. Removed members no longer show up as "?" in settlement suggestions. Things are noticeably more stable under load. Plus a pile of small polish you'll only notice if you know where to look.

A summer without "who paid for what?" Beach holidays, road trips, festivals, hiking weekends with friends — and usually no decent signal. SplitCash 1.8.1 now works fully offline. Track expenses anywhere; everything syncs automatically as soon as you're back online. — Track wherever you are On the beach with no bars, at a campsite, on a hike, on a plane to your holiday, on a road trip — log expenses as usual. Everything reaches the server at the first opportunity, nothing is lost. — Invite friends right at the beach The invite QR code now works offline. Just enter a name and SplitCash starts tracking their share of expenses. — No invite needed Before, every member of the group had to download the app and sign in. Now a name is enough — the person is already in the group. Perfect when a friend is offline or their phone died on the road. — Full expense tracking A guest works exactly like any other participant. You can pay for them, they can pay for you, and expenses split evenly, by parts, or by exact amounts. They show up in balances too, so it's always clear who owes whom. — They can join anytime When the guest is ready, send a regular invite by link or QR code. They sign in with Apple or Google, pick which guest they were, and their full expense history carries over automatically. Nothing is lost.
