Socials Now turns an idea into a script, a shoot into a story, and a folder of raw clips into a
finished video. No timeline math. No maze of tracks and panels. Your storyboard is the timeline.
ALREADY FILMED? POINT IT AT THE FOLDER.
Most editors make you drag clips in one at a time. Socials Now reads the way you already organise
your shoots. Numbered folders become separate videos. "part 2" and "part 3" become scenes in order.
Nine takes of the same shot stack into one scene with the last one chosen. Files named "blooper" or
"bts" are imported but held back out of the story. A clip named "pov you forget the tagline" becomes
a scene with that line ready to go on screen. You review what it worked out before anything is
imported, and rename or skip anything you disagree with.
CAPTIONS IN YOUR OWN WORDS
Transcribe a clip using Apple's on-device speech recognition and get caption lines timed to the
words — not one block of text sitting on screen for the whole scene. The transcript also fills in
the scene's script, so what you planned and what you actually said finally match. Nothing is
uploaded. The speech model runs on your device.
CUT THE DEAD AIR IN ONE CLICK
Every self-shot clip starts with walking into frame and ends with walking back to the camera.
Socials Now knows exactly when your first and last word land, so one button pulls every scene in to
the speech. Reversible per scene, any time.
ON-SCREEN TEXT THAT SHIPS
Put a line across a scene — the "POV:" format short-form is built on — and it burns into the export
above your captions.
PLAN IT PROPERLY
Start from a template or a blank page. Write what you'll say, describe what viewers will see, and
set a target length per scene. Word counts and read-time estimates tell you when a scene is running
long before you film it, not after.
SHOOT AGAINST THE PLAN
A shot list you can film in any order while the story stays in order. A teleprompter for your lines.
A filming companion built for propping the phone up across the room. Record straight into a scene,
or bring in what you shot on a real camera.
FINISH WITHOUT LEAVING
Choose between takes, trim, adjust volume and speed, then export at 4K, 1080p, or 720p in vertical,
square, or landscape. Hand a script and shot list to an editor or client when someone else is
finishing the job.
YOUR FOOTAGE STAYS YOURS
Imported media is copied into the app and never leaves your device. Scripts, scene order, timing and
notes sync through your own iCloud account so your plan follows you between Mac, iPhone, iPad, and
Apple Vision Pro — your camera files don't, so there are no surprise uploads. No account to create.
No analytics. No tracking. No third-party services of any kind.
