Selflane POS
Point of Sale
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Hundreds of Main Street businesses use Selflane’s software to process sales both online and in-store, handle deliveries, manage staff, and organize their operations. We bring together everything required to run a local business into one comprehensive system.
more New Features
• Void kiosk payments from the POS. If a customer decides to use a different payment method at the counter, you can now void their kiosk payment and take a new payment—without cancelling the order or voiding its kitchen ticket.
• Introducing the Selflane Displays app. Kitchen Display and Prep Display now connect to our new standalone Displays app, where all future display features will be released. You can still choose to continue using the current display experience.
Improvements
• POS card payments now include the order reference, order type, and business name in the Stripe Dashboard, making transactions easier to identify.
• Vouchers now appear in the order configured in the back office and refresh each time the list is opened.
• The Rush option is now shown only for businesses using Kitchen Display, where it can take effect. Existing Rush orders remain unchanged.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed an issue where the tip-adjust button for a kiosk payment could capture the customer’s card and charge a processing fee, requiring a refund to reverse it.
• Fixed blank tip lines appearing on kiosk and online order receipts after the customer had already responded to the tip prompt.
• Fixed Caller ID occasionally stopping after the device was locked or the app was sent to the background.
7.5.9 3 hr ago
Fixed an issue where editing a delivery order's address always failed with a "not found" error. Corrected addresses now save properly — including the map location and ZIP code — and orders on third-party delivery are re-dispatched to the updated address.

- Rush Orders
Mark an order as Rush and the whole team sees it. Set it with the bolt button while taking the order, or Rush and Un-Rush an existing order from its detail screen. Rush orders show a red bolt badge in the order list and move to the front of the Kitchen Display with a highlighted banner.
- Bar Tab Protection
Bar tabs now warn you when the running total has grown past the amount authorized on the card. On PAX terminals, you can raise the authorized amount right from the tab, so a growing tab stays covered.
- Improvements
• Kitchen Display cards now account for their banners when sizing, so dishes are no longer pushed out of view.
• Improved the Rush banner's contrast on the Kitchen Display so it stands out on a busy board.
7.5.7 20 Aug
- Unpaid Meal Breaks
Staff can now start and end an unpaid meal break right from the clock screen, with a live timer showing how long the break has run. Break time appears on the timecard, on the clock-out summary, and on the printed punchcard.
- Unconfirmed Kitchen Tickets
When a kitchen ticket is sent but the printer never confirms it came out, that ticket no longer disappears silently. It now waits in the Printer Job Queue so staff can glance at the printer and either re-send it or mark it fine. You can turn this list on or off under App Setup.
- Improvements
Close Shift now confirms each order with the server and lists any orders it could not close, along with the reason, so nothing is left open without you knowing.
7.5.6 12 Aug
New Features:
• Gift card balance — look up the balance on any Selflane gift card, now with a clearer display.

• Camera choice — pick which camera the scanner uses, per device.
• Higher limits — pay-in and pay-out raised from $1,000 to $10,000.
Improvement:

Thank you for using Selflane. We keep shipping improvements based on your feedback.
