When you start a run from your watch, RunStrict now waits for the map to finish loading before it counts hexagons. Until now, a run that began before the map arrived could count ground that was already yours as newly covered, which made that run's score too high. Minor fixes and improvements.

Fixed a false “Too fast” alert (and its “Too slow” counterpart) that could appear at an ordinary running pace after a GPS signal drop. Your pace now stays accurate through tunnels, underpasses and other weak-signal stretches. Minor fixes and improvements.

Your phone stays cooler on long runs — this update removes thousands of invisible map redraws every minute. The lock-screen timer now ticks on its own and pauses when you pause. Performance improvements and minor fixes.

Your Apple Watch now updates along with the app. Until now the watch app was left behind on an older version — that is why the connection could turn unreliable and ask you to retry mid-run, and why reinstalling it was the only cure. The disconnect warning no longer cries wolf when your watch screen simply goes to sleep. New: a switch for the watch connection, beside the Apple Health one. The running figures on the map are redrawn with a flowing trail, and the pace number under each one is bigger and easier to read.

Your run result now shows the ground you covered, not just the line you ran: every hexagon your route crossed is filled in, each stamped with a running figure for the pace you took it at.

Your heart rate zones are now one tap from the run screen — the HEART GUIDE pad on the Mix Deck has a shortcut in its corner, and it stays tappable even when the pad itself is dimmed. Also fixed: the Mix Deck's watch tab was cutting off the bottom row of step-haptic settings.

Your heart rate zones are now yours to set. Open Profile → Heart Rate Zones to set your max heart rate and move the boundaries between the five training zones. The run screen shows which zone you're in, live, and your voice coach now names it — "Zone 4, ease off a touch" — instead of a generic warning. Never open the screen and nothing changes: the defaults are exactly what the app has always used.

Connect your Apple Watch and Apple Health right from the run screen. The Mix Deck's WATCH bank now has a chip for each — tap either one to check your watch connection and toggle Apple Health sync.

One language, everywhere. Your language choice now sets both the app's screens and your voice coach — pick it once and the whole app follows.

RunStrict now speaks your language! The entire app is available in 11 languages, with dates and stats localised to your region. Run in the language you think in.

Two coach upgrades: the running coach now speaks Chinese (Mandarin) — choose it under Coach Language. And English coaching now reads your pace, distance, and finish stats in the same warm, natural voice as the rest of your cues.

This one's all about speed and reliability. RunStrict starts and resumes faster, the map runs smoother while you run, and GPS tracking now recovers on its own if your location suddenly jumps — like stepping out of a tunnel or subway. We also made a range of behind-the-scenes performance, stability, and security improvements.

Your voice coach just got an upgrade — a warmer, more natural voice with freshly rewritten coaching cues in every language, so your pace and heart-rate guidance sounds like a real running partner. We've also fixed a rare case where the map could briefly go blank around midnight, so your map now stays visible right through the daily refresh.

Fixed a bug where stopping a run and pressing back could leave a black screen. Settings panels — like the running screen's voice and watch controls — now also close with a tap outside them, not just the handle.

Buttons now feel physical — a satisfying 3D press, a light haptic, and a soft click. Turn button sounds and haptics on or off in your profile. Click sounds mix with your music and never interrupt it.

Your coaching settings — voice, haptics, and heart rate — now sync both ways between your phone and Apple Watch or Wear OS, so a change in one place takes effect everywhere. We also fixed run stats so short runs no longer show an inaccurate stability score. Thanks for running with RunStrict!
