Command a hand drawn stick figure army through all of human history. Retro Paper War is a side scrolling strategy battle game where every soldier, every fortress, and every explosion looks like it was scribbled in the margins of a school notebook.
Fight from the Stone Age to the end of time. Each era brings four new units, a new turret, a new super ability, and a new boss with its own tricks. Beat ten stages in an era to unlock the next one.
15 ERAS OF WAR
Cavemen with clubs. Knights and longbows. Cannons, rifles, tanks, jets, drone swarms, railguns, and the reality bending armies of the far future.
BUILD YOUR ARMY
Earn gold in battle and spend it on your four unit types. Drop your super ability at the perfect moment. Trained hawks, mammoth stampedes, poison gas, carpet bombs, orbital strikes, and worse.
15 UNIQUE BOSSES
The Troll King shoves your whole army back. The Black Knight refuses to die. The Singularity splits reality in half. Every era ends with a fight you will remember.
GROW STRONGER
Level up and train 10 perk lines: damage, attack speed, economy, double spawns, ability recasts, and more. Spend XP in the Armory to upgrade every single unit. The enemy grows too, stacking its own perks and upgrades every era. Check Enemy Intel before a fight.
FAIR TO FREE PLAYERS
Everything in the game can be beaten without spending a dime. Purchases only save time. One purchase removes ads forever.
