3.24 21/02/2023
- Rework the sidebar in order to remove the problematic SwiftUI List
- Ask user permission before opening an external link
- Left Dock has grown up into an elaborate toolbox placed at left bottom, which display/modifies object unit, position, euler angles, scale, rotation modes
3.23 07/02/2023
- Fix slice flickering, which has happened as soon as any slice type has been disabled
3.22 31/01/2023
- First version with two finger TouchPad support. For object modification need to press OPTION-Key, too.
- Unlimited undo with redo
- Optimized memory management to free up memory for older devices
- While resizing the 3D view screen updates are suppressed to avoid memory usage spikes on some devices
- change layout of PlayControlView
- Deselecting an object is now faster
- Allow multiple files to be imported at once
- Auto resize of loaded files being too large or too small (within three powers of ten)
- replace buggy iOS UIDocumentFilePicker with iOS UIDocumentBrowser
3.21 30/01/2023
- further speed up of slice view, again mainly targetting devices with A9/A10 chip
- disable snapshot button, while slicing is ongoing
- for slice print simulation and play position at e.g. 10h with a slow speed factor like x0.01, the play position has not advanced anymore
3.20 17/01/2023
- Print Object dimension output as floating point and not as integer
- As per twitter feedback: fix load of files with 1 Mio+ triangles
- Improve reliability of print object selection per tap on older devices
- Increase timeout for slicer engine in order to support larger files
3.19 16/01/2023
- print object: out of print bed red shading is now along the boundary and not triangle based
- reduced startup time due to parallel shader compilation
- speed up of print object loading with nearly one million triangles
3.18 10/01/2023
- faster compute GPU algorithm - mainly for older devices - so that part loading for large parts is noticeable faster
- add missing update of the view on slice filter selection

- avoid slice view flickering on older devices by better management of visible slices
3.17 08/01/2023
- toggle print object info view on tap of selected object
- obstrusive alert is replaced by a friendlier info box to report about mesh errors

- fix timeslider: layer boundary detection has worked only after slice step forward/backward has been used
- fix transparent black printbed on printer change, if camera is below printbed
- increase printbed negative z as depth resolution of 32 bit float is at its limit
- adjust camera clip planes dynamically. This avoid slice flickering due to depth resolution limitation.
3.15 02/01/2023
- Process Configuration: Sections can be collapsed
- disable print object selection while slicing
- Process Configuration: Extend tests and fix identified issues
- possible fix for app crash in the field during onboarding

3.12 22/12/2022
- Fix startup error for older iPads/iPhones (Apple3/4/5 GPU family, perhaps Apple6 GPU family - means A9-A12, perhaps A13): "Encountered unlowered function call to air.simd_min.u.i32".
3.11 20/12/2022
This is our Xmas iceberg release. Only 10% of the changes are user visible...
Here is our (most likely not) complete list of user visible changes:
- Pan mode: in lower part of 3D view, panning will perform rotation around z-axes
- Object movement is now done with two finger pan
- Display rotation axes for selected object
- Select fixed/automatic rotation axes mode via left dock button submenu
- View rotation is not limited for eye point to stay above the print bed. Printbed is transparent, if viewed from the bottom
- Night sky rotation has been corrected.
- Stars of night sky are based on the Bright Star Catalogue (9096 stars). Correctness not tested due to lack of astronomer in the team.
- Allow timeslider to be selectable, which works in iPhone safe area and iPad with keyboard/touchpad
- iPhone: extend into safe area of screen
- Printer upload provides error feedback, if print server could not be reached
- Initial view by double tap is better adjusted to actual print bed/print object size
- Faster placement of new print objects
- disable import, as soon as any print object is outside the allowed print bed area
- finally welcome/onboarding screen, which may be used to announce changes in subsequent releases
- limit movement of print object within allowed print bed area
- Toggle between two different camera positions on double tap
- pixelated forbidden area for round print bed resolved
- iPhone: solved too small gcode view in portrait mode
