more Pool Pilot 1.7.5 puts the assistant on every screen, and makes your plan options readable at a glance.
THE ASSISTANT IS WHEREVER YOU ALREADY ARE
Ask the assistant from anywhere in Pool Pilot — your dashboard, your test results, your trends, your chemical shelf, even the Help pages. One corner, every screen, always in the same place.
And you no longer have to think of the question first. Each screen offers the questions that actually belong to it: your results ask what these numbers mean, your trends ask whether your water is getting better or worse, your inventory asks which chemicals you really need. Tap one and the answer comes back already knowing your most recent test, your pool, and how Pool Pilot works.
Answers now read the way a person would write them — clean emphasis, readable lists, no stray formatting marks left behind.
A CLEARER LOOK AT WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR
The subscription screen has been rebuilt around one idea: you should be able to see every plan at once. They now sit together on a single screen, no scrolling required, so comparing them takes a glance instead of a scroll and a memory test. Tap any plan to expand exactly what it includes — and what it does not — then continue from right there. Monthly and yearly sit side by side wherever both are offered.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
• Every notification setting now lives in one place, and your maintenance choices stay where you put them.
• The Help Center answers considerably more of what people actually ask.
• Your trial status is stated once, in plain language.
1.7.5 6 days ago
Pool Pilot 1.7.4 makes the app talk about your water the way you do.
YOUR HOT TUB, IN ITS OWN TERMS
If your tub runs on bromine, Pool Pilot now says bromine — in your maintenance tasks, your reminders, and the notifications that reach your phone. Every instruction names the sanitizer you actually chose at setup. Salt water pools read chlorine, because a salt cell makes its own chlorine. It is a small thing that makes the whole app feel set up for your water instead of somebody else's.
KNOW AT A GLANCE WHETHER YOUR NUMBERS STILL COUNT
Your dashboard now tells you how old your last reading is, in plain language and in every language the app speaks — hours while it is fresh, days once it has been sitting a while. And when a reading gets old enough that dosing from it could overshoot, your recommendations say so and offer a quick re-test, so you are never working from numbers that quietly expired. One consistent freshness window across the whole app.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
• The AI Assistant opens from the menu again.
• Maintenance reminders stay reachable even with notifications switched off.
• Location controls on a pool show you they are working.
• A water volume that looks off explains why while you are still typing.
• The note about why ads appear is fully readable.
1.7.4 19 Aug
Pool Pilot 1.7.3 is a double update: the assistant becomes the way you ask about your water, and pool volume finally works the way you measure it.
POOL VOLUME IN YOUR UNITS
Cubic meters (m³) join gallons and liters. Switching units converts your number instead of just relabeling it, decimal commas are read correctly in every language, and a volume that looks implausible is caught as you type — with a nudge toward the usual cause, which is the wrong unit.
ASK WITH A PHOTO
Send a photo straight into AI chat — cloudy water, a stained wall, equipment you do not recognize — and ask about it in your own words. The assistant already knows your latest test results, so the answer accounts for the water you actually have. Visual Check is gone as a separate screen; everything it did now lives in the conversation.
BUILT FOR HOT TUBS, NOT JUST POOLS
If you look after a hot tub, the app now speaks to you directly. Hot water burns through sanitizer far faster than a pool does, so guidance is built around testing before you soak rather than a weekly calendar. Reminders that can only apply to an open pool no longer clutter your settings, and freeze protection stays exactly where it should.
A CALIBRATION GUIDE YOU READ ONCE
Setting up a new test strip brand is now a single screen with a rotating bottle showing exactly how to line up the color chart. Every instruction appears once, in plain language, framed around getting it right rather than warning you about going wrong.
SHOP IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY
Product links now open the Amazon store for your country, with the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Canada joining the United States.
FIXES
• If you already own a subscription, you will no longer be shown a paywall for it.
• Returning users are recognized instead of being greeted as a brand-new signup.
• Privacy Policy and Terms now open reliably everywhere they appear.
• The inventory screen retries instead of failing on a brief network hiccup.
1.7.3 16 Aug
Pool Pilot 1.7.1 is the release for people who look after more than one body of water — and for everyone who wants the app to watch the sky.
CUSTOMERS AND INVOICES
Keep a customer list, assign pools to each one, and set a monthly rate. Build an invoice from that rate, add one-off line items, and hand your client a branded document.
CLIENT-READY SERVICE REPORTS
Share a clean report showing test history and water-chemistry trends, with a plain-language legend so your client can read it without a chemistry background.
WEATHER-SMART TIPS — FREE FOR EVERYONE
Care tips now use a real local forecast: a heads-up before rain, storms, wind, or a heat wave, and follow-ups after they pass. If your pool has a cover, tips take it into account. Forecast-based tips are available on every plan, including free.
MAINTENANCE REMINDERS
Turn on reminders for the routines you choose — testing, cleaning, and more — with one tap, and manage them all from Settings, including quiet hours.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SPENDING
Standard and Pro see estimated chemical spend for this month and this year, drawn from prices you have already recorded. Cost reports cover any date range you choose.
CLEARER SAFETY CALLS
When chlorine or bromine is too high for a safe swim, the dashboard now says so plainly — an elevated-level caution first, and an unmistakable do-not-swim state when it matters.
FIND ANY POOL INSTANTLY
Tap the pool name and a searchable list opens, grouped by customer, with a marker on any pool that needs attention. Search matches pool names and customer names.
NAVIGATION FIXES
The back button now returns to the screen you actually came from, and a Home button sits beside it on every screen so the dashboard is always one tap away.
