Subtitles gained new tools, and translation problems are fixed. ■ Much better Turkish transcription Turkish now runs on the high-accuracy recognition engine. Both the text and the subtitle timing are now on par with Japanese or English. ■ Search and text export for subtitle files Open a subtitle file (.srt) and tap the magnifier to search it. Matches are highlighted, and the up/down buttons step through them. Tap the document icon to create a plain text file containing just the dialogue, without timestamps — the original subtitle file is left untouched. The text file you create is searchable too. ■ Shutter sound on/off You can now turn the photo shutter sound off in the camera screen (it stays on by default). The video start/stop sounds follow the same setting. ■ Translation fixes - Fixed a case where translation could not be cancelled while a language model was downloading, leaving the app stuck - Translation now retries automatically if it stops responding while translating - Fixed video audio breaking up or going silent after a translation ■ Other improvements - Language names in the transcription and translation menus now appear in your app's language - File and folder names can now be up to 128 characters (was 64)

Transcription is now much more capable, and subtitles can be translated. ■ Better transcription Now supports 13 languages (Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Vietnamese). Every format the player can play — webm, mkv, TS, and more — can now be transcribed. Everything runs on your device; the audio is never sent anywhere. ■ Subtitle translation Translate the current subtitles into another language from the translate button in the player (iOS 18 or later). Translation also runs entirely on-device. The translated subtitle is saved alongside the original file, and the original-language subtitle is kept as "name.language.srt". ■ App languages The app's interface is now available in 13 languages, following your device's language setting. ■ Copying and moving folders Select folders and copy or move them with their contents — including to and from network connections. Destinations without folders, such as the photo library, receive the files inside instead. ■ Other improvements and fixes - AV1 videos can now be played - Large file transfers are more reliable, with progress that reflects actual transfer - Network connections now reconnect automatically when dropped - Tapping the black bars around a video now shows the controls

You can now transcribe video and audio. ■ Transcription Tap the transcribe button in the player to turn the speech in a video or audio file into a subtitle file (.srt). Everything runs on your device — the audio is never sent anywhere. Japanese and English are supported. The subtitle file is saved alongside the original file (or in My Files when that location isn't writable). On iOS 26 and later, transcription uses the same high-accuracy recognition as Voice Memos (a language model is downloaded on first use). ■ Subtitles When a video or audio file has a subtitle file (.srt) next to it, it plays with subtitles.
