NEW: BANK LOOP Hold the section loop button and Pixelboop loops just the bank you are working in. Building a song a section at a time? Stay inside one bank and keep it cycling while you work, instead of the playhead wandering off into the next one. Empty sections are skipped, and it comes back around to the start of the bank when it reaches the end. The button turns a lighter green, so a glance tells you which loop you are in without stopping to check. ALSO NEW: PER LANE MIDI CHANNELS Hold the solo button on any instrument lane to set its MIDI channel. The lane shows the channel back to you in blue while you are setting it. If you drive external gear, each lane can address its own synth again, straight from the grid, without going hunting for it. ALSO: FULL DRUM NAMES Switch on small tooltips and the drum note sets spell themselves out, so you know what you just switched to. The grid keeps the short labels. Plus drum kit corrections, fixes and refinements throughout.

NEW: GRID LEGEND (iPad) A much requested feature, now putting the iPad's extra screen real estate to work. Pixelboop has no labels by design. The grid is the instrument. The catch is that learning it meant guessing. Tap the ? button and the whole interface names itself at once. Every control, every lane, and the actual note each row plays. Change the key, the scale or the note set and the note names update live, so the grid tells you what it is doing instead of making you remember. It fades back while the transport is running, so it never covers the part you are building, and returns when you stop. Tap ? again to hide it. ALSO NEW: TIGHTER TIMING Notes now fire from the audio clock instead of waiting on the interface. On an iPad Pro, nine out of ten notes were arriving late before this change, each one landing a fraction behind where you put it. Now the beat lands where the grid says it does. MIDI leaves at the same moment as the sound, so hardware you are sequencing over USB or Bluetooth stays locked to what you hear. If Pixelboop ever felt slightly loose to you, this is why. ALSO FIXED • Silent drums caused by the rhythm lane's FX filter not applying correctly. • Effects now reset properly when you clear the grid or start a new jam. • Tempo sync in AUv3 hosts. • All presets now appear in the preset picker. • A crash that could happen when changing an instrument during playback. Fixes jam playback: • Older shared jams now play every note at its intended level. Some notes, especially softer ones, were silent. • Follow Mode now sounds every note.

Pixelboop is now also an AUv3 plugin. Load Pixelboop inside AUM, Logic and other hosts as a MIDI plugin and drive your synths, drums and whole rig from the grid you already know. Same no wrong notes playground, now wired into your studio. USB, Bluetooth MIDI and WiFi jam sync are all options for the standalone app a usual. Set a key, and every tap lands in tune.
