Paprylo is a personal writing space that feels like a real desk, not another noisy app. It’s a calm, focused place for your thoughts, plans, and daily reflections, designed for people who want to write more and be distracted less.
Paprylo gives you a warm, paper‑like theme and clear typography, so the screen stays gentle on your eyes even during long writing sessions. There are no timelines, feeds, likes, or streaks to chase - just you, the page, and your words.
Built‑in templates help you keep a steady rhythm: Daily Journal, Weekly Review, Monthly Review, Habit notes, meeting notes, to‑do lists, and idea sketches. You don’t have to reinvent the structure every time - just open a template and start writing. Over time, Paprylo quietly turns into your personal logbook of days, weeks, and months.
Privacy is at the heart of Paprylo. Private notes live in a dedicated mode that you unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, so personal thoughts never mix with casual notes. If you ever need an extra layer of safety, you can create an encrypted backup file and store it wherever you trust - on your device, in Files, or offline.
Paprylo stores all of your written notes locally on your device and does not send them to any servers. There are no accounts, no analytics dashboards, and no hidden sync - your notes stay under your control. Optional voice dictation uses the built‑in iOS speech recognition service, which may send your audio to Apple for transcription if you explicitly allow it in the system prompt. For the best listening experience, we recommend enabling an enhanced system voice in iOS by going to Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices and choosing an Enhanced voice for your preferred language.
