The default mode strips automatic language settings from Reddit links before the page loads. No more German threads when you searched in English. No more Spanish results when you're browsing in French. Reddit shows you content the way it was written.

Prefer to read Reddit in a specific language? Set it once in the app and the extension enforces it on every visit — automatically, without you having to do anything else.
Keep in mind: not every Reddit post or community supports every language. If you've set a preferred language and a particular post doesn't support it, Reddit will fall back to its original language. That's Reddit's own behavior — but it's good to know so it doesn't catch you off guard.
