This release focuses on a smoother, more reliable start-up experience: - Fixed a Face ID issue where the unlock prompt could repeatedly reappear on some devices (notably iPhone 12). - Fixed a bug that caused the app to sign in to your NAS twice on launch. - Returning to the app from the background is now seamless — your live connection is kept alive instead of briefly dropping and reconnecting. - Wake-on-LAN: power on your NAS right from the app (Control Pack). Tap "Wake NAS" in the Control Center. MAC addresses are detected automatically – including multi-NIC and bonded (LACP) setups. ! Important: Wake-on-LAN must be enabled on your NAS first (in the BIOS/UEFI and network card settings). It only works on your local network, not remotely.

- Fixed a bug where users with a paired NAS Guard Agent but Background Updates disabled did not receive push alerts. The app now correctly registers with the push service in both cases, and prevents duplicate notifications when both the Agent and background polling are active. Hardware-accelerated video transcoding. NAS Guard Agent now automatically detects Intel and AMD GPUs on your TrueNAS and uses them for HLS transcoding — up to 16x faster than software encoding. No configuration needed, everything is automatic.

New video player — Preview your videos right in the app, now with smoother playback and better landscape scaling. Extra formats like MKV and AVI stream on the fly, too — these require the NAS Guard agent to be installed on your server. Cleaner sync progress — Cloud Sync, replication, and rsync jobs now show a neat, localized status line (files, size, speed, ETA), and finished jobs no longer leave duplicate cards on your Lock Screen. NEW: On-Device Assistant — Control Pack (Early Beta) Ask about your server's pools, disks, alerts, services and health in plain language — all processed privately on-device, nothing leaves your iPhone. Part of the Control Pack; requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device. This is an early beta: it may occasionally state values incorrectly, so please verify important details against the dashboard. Feedback is welcome as we keep improving accuracy. Also: some stability fixes.

Start a scrub, resilver, replication, cloud sync, or rsync task and follow its progress right on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. - Background start: Live Activities appear for auto-started jobs without opening the app first - More reliable completion: progress and the final "Completed" state now update dependably

New: Disk Health & Capacity Forecast - A new "Health & Forecast" screen (Dashboard ' Storage) estimates how long until each pool runs out of space, based on your actual usage trend. Per-disk health at a glance, powered by ZFS read/write/checksum error counters and vdev status — the same signals ZFS uses to flag a failing drive. Disk temperature trends with 7-day min/avg/max ranges. Get a heads-up notification when a pool is forecast to fill up soon. Customizable gauge colors - Personalize the dashboard gauges with your own color themes. - TrueNAS 25.10 ready - Updated for TrueNAS 25.10: removed checks that no longer apply (SMART and the legacy update API were retired upstream) so status reporting stays accurate.
