Use the language you're learning every day - as if you lived abroad. Three days free trial. Nami is an AI assistant that works in the language you are learning. You keep your to-do list in it, write your notes in it, and ask it your questions — and it answers you in that language, at a level you can follow. Here is what a day looks like. You type "remind me to call the landlord on Friday". Nami replies in the language you are learning and adds it to your list. There are two words in her reply you do not know, so you drag the magnifying glass over them, read what they mean, and carry on. A few days later those two words come back as a short exercise. You are not sitting down to study. You are using an assistant the way you already do, and you are reading and writing that language all day because of it. A DICTIONARY ON EVERY SCREEN The whole app is written in the language you are learning, so you will meet words you do not know. Drag the magnifying glass over one and its meaning appears in a language you already speak. Hold it still for a moment and the word is saved, so you can review it later. IT RUNS YOUR DAY When you need a real answer — opening hours, visa rules, a price, what is happening in the news — Nami searches the web and answers from what it finds. You can photograph a menu or a street sign and ask what it says. And if you would rather talk than type, you can dictate your message and Nami writes it down for you. IT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU GET WRONG Nami reads everything you write and keeps your mistakes in a notebook you can look through whenever you want. The words you saved come back a few days later as short exercises: match the word to its meaning, fill in the missing word, put a sentence in order, or type it out. They are built from your own words and your own mistakes, not from a list someone else wrote. IT WRITES AT YOUR LEVEL When you start, you tell Nami how good you are — anywhere from A1 to C2 — and everything it writes is aimed there. It should feel understandable but slightly harder than what you would write yourself. If it stops fitting, you can change it in settings at any time. IT SHOWS YOU HOW TO SAY IT BETTER Tap on any message you wrote and Nami shows you how someone who grew up speaking the language would have said the same thing, along with the one thing most worth fixing. A REASON TO COME BACK TOMORROW Every morning Nami writes you one message about your day. It also picks three words for you to use, and once you have used all three you get a short summary of what you talked about. If you use the app at least once a day, you build a streak. WHICH LANGUAGES You can learn Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Vietnamese. Translations appear in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Polish. You can also set your native language from a list of nineteen, so dictation understands your accent. WHO IT IS FOR Nami is for people who can already say something in the language and want to use it every day. NAMI PRO Nami is a subscription. You can pay yearly, in which case the first three days are free, or monthly. Prices are in your own currency and you see them in the app before you pay anything. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. The subscription renews on its own unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before it ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW Nami sends what you write, say and attach to AI models, which is how it answers you, corrects you and breaks sentences down word by word. Like any AI, it can be wrong while sounding certain — about facts and about grammar — so please do not rely on it for anything medical, legal or financial.
