Mooch has been rebuilt from the ground up. Your friends and your inventory are
exactly where you left them — just sign in as usual.
Mooch is a virtual inventory you create with your friends to share stuff you are willing to let each other borrow. Whether it's tools, clothes, books, baby stuff, or anything else, you simply take pictures of things you want to share or use the bar-code scanner to add items to your inventory. Then you simply click on "mooch it" when you want to borrow an item. Mooch will keep track of who borrows items, and also keeps a record when they are marked returned so you are less likely to lose stuff people borrow.

Why buy when you can borrow from your friends and neighbors. Save money by borrowing rather purchase items you only need once or for a short time.
Create Community
Sharing with friends and neighbors creates goodwill and gives us opportunities to not only help each other, but get to know others around us better. If you drive past all people in your neighborhood to go to the store you miss an opportunity to see them when an item is shared and when it is returned.
Go Green - use less stuff
Whether you want to help the environment or you just want to be a minimalist, Mooch will help by allowing you to create less waste from trash or purchased items. You also get to return the item and practice minimalism by not have to store items you use temporarily.

Mooch has been rebuilt from the ground up.
Everything you already have is still here — your friends, your inventory,
and anything currently borrowed or lent out. Nothing to move, nothing to set
up again. Just sign in as usual.
What's new:
- Both people confirm. Pickups and returns now take a tap from each side, so
an item can't be marked as handed over or returned unless you both agree.
- Search. Find things fast on Home and in My Stuff — tap the magnifying glass.
- Profile photos. Add one from your camera or library, then pinch and drag to
position it exactly how you want.
- Free items change hands properly. Give something away and it moves into the
other person's stuff, instead of just disappearing from yours.
- Undo. Withdraw a request before it's accepted, or take back a pickup or
return you tapped by mistake.
- Delete items you no longer have.
- Find friends from your contacts, and invite the ones who aren't on Mooch yet.
- Photos upload quicker and use less data.
- A rebuilt Settings, a walkthrough of how Mooch works, and a help section
answering the questions we get asked most.
- You can now delete your account and everything in it from Settings.
