more This month our white cat Ramune turns ten. He started out as a stray — we took him in on a day of thunderstorms, a skinny little kitten. We brought him home meaning to make him the happiest cat in the world, so here's to many more healthy years.
This time we looked at the headaches that may not be about pressure at all.
■ Triggers beyond pressure
"Screen / desk work" and "Alcohol / caffeine" are now available as triggers on your records, and the Insight tab has a new "Your trigger patterns" section. It shows how often each trigger overlapped with a drop in pressure, so you can tell apart the ones that come with the weather and the ones that don't.
If step data is available, days when you moved less than usual are now reflected in your outlook — for when a long day at the desk lines up with falling pressure. If step data isn't available, nothing changes.
■ Share today's alert times
You can now share today's alert times as an image — handy for telling family or friends to take it easy tomorrow. The image shows only pressure and time of day; none of your records are included.
■ Records made from notifications and widgets
Until now, recording from a notification or widget while the app was closed often left no pressure reading attached. We now fill in the change from the weather forecast, so those records count toward your own patterns too.
■ Cycle predictions from day one
Cycle setup now has a "cycle before last" entry. With three cycles in place, your next prediction is ready the same day you set it up. If you don't track your cycle, nothing about your display or outlook changes.
■ A clearer alert-times widget
When the colored band crosses midnight, it now shows whether those hours are today or tomorrow.
Thank you for using MiaCare. We'd love to hear your thoughts.
1.9.0 1 day ago
Our white cat Ramune loves play bites. Lately he misjudges his strength and it honestly hurts.
Now you can see when it starts and when it eases — without opening the app.
■ Today's risk hours (widget)
A new widget shows which hours of the day need care, as colored bands, with a marker for where you are now. Put it on your Home Screen or Lock Screen and check at a glance.
■ When it eases
Until now we could only tell you that rough weather was coming. We now show roughly when the pressure looks set to recover, so you have something to plan around.
■ Alongside your cycle
If you track your cycle, we now factor it in together with pressure changes. When a big drop lines up with your cycle, the outlook accounts for it. If you don't track it, nothing about your display or outlook changes.
■ If you don't have an Apple Watch
Stress needs an Apple Watch, but pressure and headache risk work for everyone. The card on the Home tab now takes you straight to the pressure screen.
Thank you for using MiaCare. We'd love to hear your thoughts.

1.8.0 6 Aug
What's New in v1.7.2
New
• Quiet Hours summary: "Caution"-level alerts during the night (10 PM–7 AM) can now be bundled and delivered together at 7 AM the next morning. Urgent alerts are still delivered right away. (Off by default; you can turn it on in Settings.)
• If notifications appear to be turned off, we now show a banner to help you re-enable them.
Improvements
• Recording a headache from a pressure-alert notification is now a consistent one-tap action.
• Fixed an issue where the subscription plan screen occasionally failed to load.
Fixes
• Resolved 20+ display sync issues across the app, Apple Watch, and widgets (blank/frozen stress readings, the Watch menstrual-cycle badge, complication updates, widget pressure & weather display, and more).
• Fixed minor notification-related issues.
Thank you for using MiaCare.
1.7.3 22 Jul
Earlier, our very own Gumi-chan attempted to jump onto the bookshelf, missed, and sent a spectacular pile of books flying.
So, this release comes to you from the middle of a small literary disaster.
Now, about this fix: we’re truly sorry.
We fixed an issue where the Watch app could consume more battery than expected.
1.7.1 7 Jul
This update helps you see more — not just headaches, but the bigger picture of your stress.
■ Log more than headaches
You can now record other symptoms too — fatigue, dizziness, sleepiness, stiff shoulders and more (choose several at once). The barometric pressure and your autonomic state (tiredness) at that moment are saved automatically, so “Symptom trends” in Insight shows whether each symptom tends to line up more with pressure drops or with tiredness.
■ Long-Term Stress Trend (Premium)
A new card lets you look back over 3 months to a full year — not just today and this week. From your own data it quietly surfaces findings like turning points (when things changed), rhythm (which day and time tends to run high), and factors (such as overlaps with shorter-sleep days). You can also see seasonal shifts and year-over-year comparisons.
■ A one-tap morning check-in after pressure alerts
On the morning after a big pressure change, a gentle notification asks “Did you get a headache yesterday?” Tap “Yes” to log it without even opening the app — and the more you log, the clearer your pressure-and-headache pattern becomes (only when Headache Alerts are on; you can turn it off in Settings).
■ Other
・Added a caution icon for tropical storms in the weather forecast.
・Refined the long-term trend display and fixed several issues.
Thank you for using MiaCare. We’d love to hear your feedback and requests.

Version 1.6.3
Thank you for using Mia Care.
The other day, our beautiful black cat Gumi celebrated her 9th birthday.
She loves cardboard boxes and is very cute as a sheltered princess, literally in a box.
This time, we carefully reviewed the accuracy of pressure alerts and the connection with Apple Watch and widgets.
New features and improvements
* Earlier awareness of pressure warnings
Mia Care now notifies you more reliably of caution and warning levels, even when air pressure drops gradually. We also aligned the color bands in the graph with the warning badge shown at the top.
* Fixed display differences between Apple Watch and the app
We improved consistency so that location, air pressure, and stress values do not differ between iPhone and Apple Watch. The latest status now updates more smoothly when you raise your wrist or when the app is in the background.
* Unified warning levels across widgets, Apple Watch, and the app
The same warning level is now shown wherever you check it.
* Adjusted sleep evaluation to feel more natural
* Made the air pressure graph lighter and smoother
Notification frequency remains the same as before.
We will only send notifications when needed, so you can continue using Mia Care with peace of mind.
1.6.3 22 Jun
Rainy season headaches can be tough.
This update brings new features designed to gently support you while traveling and in everyday family life.
New Features
■ Check air pressure at travel and business trip destinations (Premium)
Register your destination to check local air pressure trends and headache signs in advance. Helpful for preparing your condition before a trip.
■ Manage family headaches by person (Premium)
You can now record headaches for your children or family members, and switch insights by person. This makes it easier to see whose headache records you are viewing.
*Alerts, widgets, and Apple Watch continue to be based on your own current location.
■ Save reflection images to Photos
Headache diary-style “reflection images” can now be saved directly to your Photos app, in addition to being shared.
■ Select a person when exporting
If you have family members registered, you can choose whose data to export for CSV files and reflection images.
Improvements
・We reviewed and improved the accuracy of displays related to air pressure forecasts and records.
・We fixed minor issues and improved overall stability.
We’ll continue helping you live more comfortably with headaches.
1.6.2 12 Jun
MiaCare has moved onto your watch face.
MiaCare now supports Apple Watch face complications.
You can add “Pressure caution,” “Stress,” and “Activity” to your watch face. You can also see when pressure-related caution begins, shown as “Caution from 3 PM.”
How to set it up: touch and hold the watch face → Edit → choose “MiaCare” in a complication slot
You can now customize your tabs.
Hide the tabs you do not use from Settings.
The “Pressure correlation” insight has been improved.
It now appears sooner and more accurately.
Other small improvements and bug fixes are included.
Thank you for using MiaCare.
1.6.1 6 Jun
A quiet moment with a cat curled up in your lap. We’ve made it even easier to record changes in how you’re feeling during everyday life.
What’s New
• Log headaches with Siri or Apple Watch using your voice or a single tap. Atmospheric pressure is automatically recorded with each entry.
• Added humidity, wind speed, sunrise, and sunset information to the 24-hour weather forecast.
• Improved air pressure forecasting and headache alert accuracy.
• Added in-app announcements.
1.6.0 30 May
Lately, a cat has been climbing onto the keyboard and arms during development, making the atmosphere a little softer and cozier than usual.
This update was built in that kind of mood.
## Mia Care 1.5.1

■ Reflection Image (Premium)
You can now save and share your headache records from a selected period (up to one month, even across months) as a single easy-to-read image. ■ Improved Pressure Forecast Display
Upcoming atmospheric pressure changes are now easier to read and understand.
■ Apple Watch Stress History Retention
■ Enhanced Data Export
CSV export now allows you to choose the data type and time period.
