Thanks for updating the Mevolit app! We've updated our iOS app with bug fixes and changes to improve your overall experience.

Bug fixes & performance improvements, offloading some rendering to the GPU with MetalKit.

In this release we have fixed an issue with updates parsing incorrectly in the clear all updates view as well as UI improvements.

This update includes a couple of useful improvements: Added support for APNs (Apple Push Notification service) to enable push notifications. You can now mark all devices as updated directly from My Devices, making it quicker to keep your device list up to date per user feedback. As always, we’ve also made general performance improvements and fixed a few bugs to enhance your experience.

Added support for tracking Developer Beta releases from iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27 and more. Deprecations of older technologies in Swift have been removed from this release.

In this release the following has been changed: • Fixed an issue with device versions displaying ‘Unknown’ in the device deck on Home. • Update my Mac Siri Intent enabled for all users. Requires adding your Mac in Settings > Utility. • Added Foundation Models to the ‘Search’ function and selecting an individual update in the search results displays the update with AI-based summarisation. • Combined the statistics card in My Devices into a single card for the total number of devices and updates available at the top.

Added support for Apple Foundation Models powered by Apple Intelligence to give users update summaries, update health assessments per device. Insights tab updated with Foundation Models. The ability to sort devices in My Devices by device type into groups has been added. Fixed an issue with not being able to manage family members devices in My Devices. The option to disable Live Activities directly from the settings has been introduced to prevent the app from initiating a live activity on first launches.

In this release we have added quality of life improvements to how software versions are tracked and stored as well as UI improvements to My Devices. Dynamic software versions are saved on-device when new updates are available and you mark the device as updated, the newer version is saved to be selected if you add a new device you can now pick that version instead of the preset software versions.

Bug fixes and improvements.

In this release the following has been enhanced to the My Devices section: - Support for your custom wallpapers. - More Liquid Glass in areas of the UI. - Sort devices by grid or list view. - Added the ability to change devices accent colours using the new colour picker when tapping a device. *Note the redesigned My Devices view is now the default design for users when you update the app. Notice to users, system wide dark mode has been enforced to adhere to a consistent unified design language.

In this release we have added and changed the following: • Added support for MacBook Neo • Fixed a parsing issue with how update results were displayed. • Fixed an issue for devices with an unknown build number after editing a device, tap the device in My Devices to display that devices details then search for updates inside the view, Mevolit will retrieve the build number for the software version itself. • Added expandable menus throughout My Devices for easy ease of use • Added the ability for users to tap on a device in My Devices prototype view to display details about that particular device, current software version, version update history, ability to search for updates just for that device and view update details.

In this release we have made changes to Liquid Glass API usage in some areas including: - Prototype My Devices section has an expandable menu when clicked expands vertically, replacing top navigation - Fixed Info view not appearing in My Devices when clicked - Expandable menu added to Search when searching manually for updates - My Macs section further expanded and will continue to receive improvements over time.

In this release the following has been enhanced; • Search tab UI changes • My Mac’s section UI additions to bring at a glance Firewall/SIP/Updates with security and update recommendations if security issues or macOS updates are detected.

In this release we have added and changed the following: - Fixed an issue with updates whereby if an added device in My Devices was on the last beta of an iOS version and a RC version becomes available, the app wouldn't identify the RC as being newer so it wouldn't prompt the user of devices having updates. - Added My Macs to the navigation menu so users can add and manage Macs more easily. Press and hold on an added Mac in this section to display contextual quick actions. - Added Insights Section - a new at a glance view of all added devices and connected Macs statuses. - Updated Security Centre to include audits for macOS Security in Device Health & Security inside of Settings. Checking aspects of macOS such as SIP status, macOS updates, firewall status, Gatekeeper and more.

in this release we have added and changed the following; - Added a dedicated Managed Macs section on the Home page, listing your SSH configured Macs, in-line status for online/offline. Clicking on a Mac opens that Macs control panel to configure Mac settings. Option doesn't appear if no Macs have been configured in Settings > Utility & Subscriptions > Manage remote Macs. - Refreshed the look and feel of the macOS control center. - Added a 'Reset Device list' option in My Devices in the top bar next to mute. To address a rare situation where the devices listed in 'Home' become out of sync with the list of devices due to restoring from iCloud.

Hey Siri, Update my Mac! In this release we have added the following enhancements to Mevolit which Mac owners will love! • Added the ability to add your local home Mac’s and either control elements of your system over SSH, or Mevolit can automatically update macOS on all of your Mac’s added for remote control, either autonomously or with user consent when a new update is available. • Expanded the software version range when adding devices to now go all the way to 26.2 versions across iOS, macOS, tvOS. watchOS and more. • Expanded existing Siri App Intents to include remotely updating macOS all from using Siri, Type to Siri or Voice. • Expanded onboarding to include information on macOS remote updating from Mevolit. Note: Device Management Logic has been changed in this release, if you update and find your list of devices have disappeared, you may need to re-add your devices. Fallback protection has been added in this version to avoid future loss. Note this is the last update of 2025 until we return again in the middle of January.

Feedback & Insights • Redesigned Feedback system — now includes categories and star ratings for more structured input.

In this update, we’ve introduced a new onboarding page to inform new users about a new daily device integrity check. You can now enable or disable these checks anytime from settings. We’ve also added a manual security test feature that runs step-by-step checks for device security and provides clear guidance on how to resolve any issues detected. In this release we have reintroduced the avatar profile pictures back to the ‘Home’ section of the app as well as added a device details section in Home to give device details of the device using Mevolit. Time-Sensitive notifications capability added and can be enabled in iOS Settings.

We’ve added a few updates to make your Siri experience with Mevolit even better! You no longer need to add Mevolit to the shortcuts app, Siri now learns based off your usage patterns and can proactively display suggestions on your Lock Screen, Spotlight as well as Type to Siri. In this release we have changed the following; Notes • Attach photos and sketches with full-screen viewing. • Use quick templates and smart suggestions for faster note-taking. • Improved summaries and linked notes display. • Enhanced analytics: priority, trends, and linked note insights. Changed the Home gradient colour scheme and added styles to choose from in Settings > Wallpaper & Styles, to match your look.

In this release we have changed and added the following to the Tracked section: - Renamed "Tracked" to Search. - Added Ask Mevolit capabilities to Search, formally known as the "Tracked" section. - Some UI improvements made to Search. - Added Ask Mevolit to the search results of updates so users can ask about details about the specific update in the search results. Introduced a new Notes section in the leading menu bar in the Home section. Log software issues, set reminders, identify bug trends with Analytics analysed from your notes.

Ask Mevolit Enhancements: - Smart Suggestions appear above the textfield when focused, with the options changing if there are new updates or not. - Inline replies added to reply to a specific message from Ask Mevolit. - Actions added below the AI responses. - Message limit indicator added to the textfield giving clear guidance on when the limit is up.
