The Merck Scan Now platform helps you make the most of Merck Smart Label product barcodes. Use the app to scan a 2D DataMatrix barcode using the camera on your phone or tablet.
The app sends the raw numeric information to the Merck Scan Now web page where the data stored in the barcode is displayed -- including the Item Code, Batch Number, Shelf Life, and Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) -- along with links to documents such as Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), when appropriate.
