Matchimals is an animal matching card game for 1–4 players, made for kids (ages 2–10 love it) and the grown-ups who play with them. Connect cards so the animals on their edges match, rack up points, and see who builds the best board.
HOW TO PLAY
• Take turns placing the top card from the deck next to the cards already on the table.
• Every edge that matches its neighbour's animal scores points — some animals are worth more than others.
• Find a spot that matches on two or three sides for a big turn.
• When the deck runs out, the highest score wins.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
• Easy mode — there's always a match to make, so little ones are never stuck.
• Classic — match if you can, pass if you can't. The original rules, with a bit more bite.
MADE FOR SHARING ONE SCREEN
• Pass-and-play for up to 4 players on one iPhone or iPad — no accounts, no internet needed.
• Play solo for a quiet round, too.
• Choose your animal: 28 to pick from, each with its own colour — and a matching app icon.
• Pinch and drag around a board that grows with every card.
GOOD TO KNOW
• No ads. No in-app purchases. Nothing to unlock.
• Based on Busy Bee, a card game from 1959.
• Open source — the whole game is on GitHub.
Matchimals aims to provide entertainment and improve pattern recognition skills through fun visuals of animals, colors, and numbers.

A fresh new look — a sticker-style logo, redesigned menus and dialogs, and numbered player buttons so starting a game is clearer than ever.
Feel the game — Matchimals now vibrates when you pick up a card, make a match, or get a card bounced back to the deck. (Prefer it quiet? There's a Vibration switch in Settings.)
Victory lap — a new celebration screen crowns the winner when the last card is played.
Your animal, your icon — you can now pick your favorite animal to use as the App Icon on your home screen.
Also includes minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
