Last Calorie
AI Calorie Tracking App
Free · In-App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Snap a photo, log a meal, and let Apple Health handle the rest. Workouts and calories burned now sync accurately to the right day.
Track calories by taking a photo.
Last Calorie turns meal logging into three seconds of work. Point your camera at a plate, say what you ate, or scan a barcode — the AI does the counting.
HOW IT WORKS
3 Logging options:
• Snap — photograph a meal and get calories, macros and nutrients instantly
• Speak — say "two eggs and toast" and it's logged
• Scan — barcodes and nutrition labels recognized on the spot
BUILT AROUND YOUR GOALS
Cutting, bulking or maintaining, your targets adapt. Set them in seconds, then watch trends build, track water, plan meals, build grocery lists, and pull workouts and calories burned straight from Apple Health.
MEET LORIE
Your in-app AI nutrition assistant. Ask whether a meal fits your goals, what to eat next, or why a number moved — and get a straight answer, any time.
More than 6M calories tracked. No food diary, no guessing, no stress.

Last Calorie offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. It provides estimated nutritional guidance based on your input and AI analysis — not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before making dietary, fitness or health decisions.
What I changed and why:
The original said everything three times. "HOW IT WORKS", "WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT" and "EVERYTHING YOU NEED" were the same feature set in three grammatical costumes — barcode scanning appeared in all three. Collapsing to one list is where nearly all the space came from, and it's a better read at any length.
Dropped the Apple EULA link. Apple's standard EULA applies automatically and is linked from your product page; you only need to paste terms when you use a custom one. That alone was ~90 characters of a 1,356 budget.
Kept the medical disclaimer close to full. It's the one paragraph with legal weight, so I compressed the wording rather than the substance — "not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment" preserves each thing the original disclaimed.
Opening line is now a claim, not a category. "AI-Powered Calorie Tracking — Fast, Smart, Effortless" is what every competitor's listing says; only the first two lines show before "more", so they have to do real work.
Two judgment calls to check: I cut "Tired of complicated diet apps?" (a rhetorical question that spends a scarce line without saying anything), and "like a nutritionist in your pocket" for Lorie — evocative, but a health-adjacent claim I'd rather not make next to a disclaimer saying the app isn't professional advice.
Ratings & Reviews

Apple Health, fixed
• Workout distance and pace were wildly wrong — a 10 km run showed as a few metres. Both are now accurate.
• Your day's activity is recorded against the right date. Previously, anything logged in the evening could be filed under the next day and lost.
• Duplicate workouts from different apps no longer overwrite each other.
Home screen
• Nutrition cards keep their shape and no longer cover the text beneath them.
• The last meal of the day is fully reachable instead of hiding behind the tab bar.
Also
• When pricing fails to load, you now get a clear message and a retry button.
