Iron Blocker keeps Safari clean and your phone quiet. It strips ads and trackers out of the pages you open, lets you block sites you would rather not visit, and keeps known spam numbers from ringing through. Everything runs on your iPhone, with no account to create.
WHAT IRON BLOCKER DOES
Ad blocking in Safari
Banners, pop-ups and video ad slots are filtered out before the page renders. Pages load faster and use less mobile data.
Tracker blocking
Advertising and analytics trackers are cut off, so the sites you read learn less about you and follow you around less.
Website blocking
Add any domain to your own block list and Safari will stop opening it. Handy for time sinks, for pages you do not want on a shared device, and for the sites that keep redirecting you.
Call blocking
Iron Blocker loads a spam number database into the Phone app, so matching calls are blocked or labelled before you pick up. You can add your own numbers to the list at any time.
Simple to switch on
Turn Iron Blocker on in Settings once, for Safari and for the Phone app, and it works in the background from then on. No proxy, no configuration profile.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
Iron Blocker does not scan your device, does not look for viruses or malware, and does not read the content of your pages, your messages or your calls. Your block lists stay on your iPhone. Filtering works in Safari and in apps that use the Safari view; it does not change traffic in other apps.
IRON BLOCKER PREMIUM
Premium adds extended filter lists, unlimited entries in your website and phone number lists, and automatic updates to the blocking rules as new ad networks and spam numbers appear.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Iron Blocker Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. The available plans, their length and their prices are shown in the app before you confirm anything. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Account Settings after purchase.
