more Coach+ has a new start screen: it greets you by name, tells you one thing about today, and suggests what to ask right by the message box.
You can now choose how Coach+ works with you. A chip under the message box switches between Ask first (every change comes as a card you approve), Direct (small changes apply right away, with Undo on the card) and Discuss (the coach proposes before it does anything). Your choice is remembered.
Coach+ can also look at a photo. Tap + to pick one from your library or take one: a screenshot of your zones, a device screen, a route profile. Photos are part of Max.
Fixes: resting heart rate and breathing rate from Apple Health are more accurate, the chat no longer shows an empty screen after your first message in a new conversation, and long suggestions wrap instead of being cut off.

Coach+ is a lot smoother: the app no longer freezes when you send a message while the coach is still answering, the coach's reasoning now folds away above the answer, replies can use lists and short headings, and the input box is roomier. Your own messages are easier to read in light mode. The quick-reply buttons under the daily briefing send right away again. Fixes: the beta toggle in Settings sticks, buttons have readable labels everywhere, and the dashboard is more responsive on iOS 26.

The race catalog is now a place you can go: open More → Community races to browse every shared race, not just when you are setting a goal.
Indoor racing is in the catalog. Races on Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy and WTRL were being discarded before they ever got there, so browsing in winter turned up almost nothing. Filter by anywhere, outdoors or virtual.
Race pages now show what the website shows: what the race demands, fuelling, estimated finish times for your level, the training weeks between now and race day, and a map of where it is.
The race list now keeps loading as you scroll, instead of stopping after the first hundred races.
Also in this build: the add-to-calendar button is readable again, and a race page shows a map of where it is.

Fixed: tapping Approve on a coach action in chat (like marking yourself sick) could silently do nothing — approvals now always go through, or show a retry option if the connection drops. The approval card also now describes exactly what you're approving, including the dates.
Fixed: approving a coach action in chat (such as marking yourself sick) could silently do nothing — the approval card's buttons weren't wired up for some actions. Approvals now always go through, on every action the coach can propose.
• Form on your dashboard now shows as a percentage of your fitness, matching the web app and the Form Trend chart.
• New: body fat trend chart on the Analytics page, using measurements synced from your scale or wearable.
• The Dashboard loads faster and scrolls more smoothly.
• When an Apple Health workout can't be synced, the app now tells you what to do — like reconnecting Intervals.icu — instead of showing a generic error.
2026.8.6 23 Aug
New: choose day, week or month averaging for the wellness charts in Analytics. New: rename or delete a completed activity right from its detail view.
Analytics: the time period and day/week/month averaging controls now sit together at the top of the screen and drive every chart, including the fitness trend. Switching the period picks a sensible averaging automatically, and your manual choice sticks until the next switch.
Swedish and Norwegian are here. Japanese and Korean can now be picked in Settings too: they were already translated, but the list never offered them.
Workouts built around training zones now show their real shape in the chart instead of one flat bar.
When a request fails, you now see what actually went wrong instead of a generic error code.
Fixed: if you use miles, your critical speed and your weekly training distance now show in miles. The pace was labelled per mile while still showing the per-kilometre number, so the dashboard could suggest you run a 4:27 mile, and the gap to your target was out by the same amount. The distance on a training plan week was always shown in kilometres.
Fixed: parts of the app that were still appearing in English now follow the language you have chosen.
Pool swims from your Apple Watch now arrive with distance and pace. Heart rate always came through, but the distance stayed behind, so swims showed no pace, every interval landed in Z1, and the load was estimated from heart rate alone. Swims, plus treadmill runs and indoor rides without GPS, now carry their recorded distance.
Apple Watch app with complications: see your readiness, today's workout, health metrics and training score at a glance, and rate your workout right from your wrist. Turn on auto-scheduling in Settings to have your planned workouts appear in the Watch's Workouts app automatically. Also: workout charts now draw descending ramps and heart-rate zone steps at the right height.
2026.8.2 11 Aug
Fresh new app icon with a bit more depth and shine. Plus small refinements and fixes.
Brighter, bolder app icon.
Refined app icon with a subtle brand glow.
Refined app icon with a subtle brand glow.
Analytics now charts more of your wellness history: sleep, VO2max and your training-load ratio (ACWR), with a plain-language explainer and a safe build-up band. Weekly charts no longer trail off before the end of the axis.
2026.7.37 25 Jul
If you run with power, the dashboard now has a running-power form card in watts, with a 6-month trend and how far you are from your season best.
Set your own numbers: edit your FTP, threshold pace and threshold heart rate right in the app. They save back to Intervals.icu.
Running power now uses your Running FTP, and you can choose whether it follows your estimated (eFTP) or manual value.
Cadence targets now show on every interval step in a workout, not just the warm-up and cool-down.
Fixed the two most common app freezes, on the Calendar and Analytics screens.
2026.7.30 22 Jul
Race Catalog: browse a catalog of real-world races — gran fondos, marathons and sportives — and add one to your calendar as your goal in a tap. You choose your own A/B/C priority for it. You can also share your own races with the community, and races now cover every sport (ride, run, trail, swim, walk, hike, strength).
Community races now open a details page — tap a race to see its distance, location, event website and description, and pick your A/B/C priority there. You can add notes to any race you create, and when you share a race you can include a link to the official event website.
Fixed a visual glitch when adding a race — the background is now consistent across the Create and Browse tabs instead of flipping.
Fixed the race priority chooser popping up in the wrong place — it now points at the Add-to-calendar button.
2026.7.24 22 Jul
The proposed workout in TrainNow now shows your actual pace and watts next to the training percentages — for example "60% · 150W" on the bike or "76-80% pace · 6:57-7:19/km" on the run.
Counts like "2 warnings" or "3 days left" now use proper plural forms in every language.
The sick/injured banner on the dashboard now shows in your own language.
2026.7.20 17 Jul
• The morning check-in now starts pre-filled with the answers you already logged, including values entered on Intervals.icu
• Restored the Training Score card and the Agent Log
• The activity heatmap in Analytics now opens on your current weeks
• Statistics tiles and summary cards keep equal heights, and labels no longer break mid-word
• The Training Score legend no longer overlaps the chart dates, and power profile labels are back on their spokes
• Weekly training load now reads done/target, and workouts can no longer show a 0-minute duration
• A ride that doesn't match your planned session is no longer marked as completed
2026.7.19 16 Jul
Your morning check-in in the Daily Briefing now starts pre-filled with the answers you already logged, including values entered directly on Intervals.icu. Also restores the Training Score card and the Agent Log if they were hidden.
2026.7.18 15 Jul
TrainNow: choose whether suggestions fit your plan or today's readiness. On a day your plan left open, switch to "Fit my readiness" to get a session matched to how recovered you are, instead of only an easy option.
Now available in Japanese and Korean (日本語, 한국어). The whole app is translated and follows your device language automatically.
• Redesigned health summary: your dashboard now always shows your most relevant available readings (sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, breathing rate and more), instead of a recovery percentage that just repeated your readiness score.
• Japanese and Korean language support.
• TrainNow can now build a workout around today's readiness, not just your plan.
2026.7.17 10 Jul
iPad now uses the full screen. The calendar gets a desktop-style month view with a week summary, goal banner, intensity and RPE on each day, and a side panel for the selected day. The dashboard lays its cards out in two columns, milestones collapse into a compact shelf you can expand, and the sidebar shows every section. Fixed: pages now scroll while your finger is on a chart.

iPad now uses the full screen: a desktop-style month calendar with a week summary, goal banner, and a side panel for the selected day; a two-column dashboard; collapsible milestones; and a complete sidebar. This build also fixes the white bars on either side of iPad pages, makes the whole Recovery/Sleep cards tappable, and opens a workout from the calendar the same way as everywhere else. Plus: pages scroll while your finger is on a chart, and the new calendar labels are translated.
More iPad polish: tapping a day with a single workout opens it directly (and multiple workouts open the side panel to pick); the Add Workout sheet now offers every supported sport and opens at a comfortable size; and the day and workout screens open consistently across the app. Also includes the earlier iPad desktop calendar, two-column dashboard, full sidebar, edge-to-edge pages, tappable Recovery/Sleep cards, and the chart-scroll fix.
2026.7.14 7 Jul
More activities now show their own icon: kayaking, canoeing, SUP and rowing, open-water swims, gravel and mountain bike rides, gym sessions, yoga and pilates, and winter sports like skiing, snowboarding and skating.
The weather card now shows which place the forecast is for, so you can check it matches where you'll actually ride or run.
The weather card on your planned workouts now shows in your language. Condition names, labels and details were appearing in English for some languages.
Coach+ now reliably applies calendar changes when you approve more than one at once. Before, approving a batch (like deleting a few workouts and adding a new one in one go) could quietly do nothing.
Coach+ now applies every calendar change when you approve several cards in one go. Deleting or creating a few workouts in the same message and approving each one now updates all of them, not just the first.

2026.7.6 5 Jul
Fixed: the weather on a planned outdoor workout now follows the units you picked in the app. If you set Imperial but your device region is metric (or the other way round), it could show °C and km/h instead of °F and mph. It now uses your chosen units.
Readiness score 2.0: the score now reflects purely how recovered your body is - your plan no longer drags it down on rest days. Tap the ring to see every factor behind today's score compared with your personal 30-day baseline. Your morning check-in completes a provisional score, and once your morning data is in, the score stays put for the day.
Morning check-in gets its own quick sheet: tap the invite next to your readiness ring and log how you feel in 30 seconds, with your saved answers prefilled. The check-in invite now also shows on days your score is already set, and answers you logged in Intervals.icu count automatically. Plus: the app version is now shown at the bottom of Settings, and the check-in buttons align neatly in every language.
2026.7.3 4 Jul
Weather for your upcoming outdoor workouts (Pro): open a planned outdoor ride or run to see the forecast for exactly when you'll be training, based on your location. You get temperature and feels-like, an hour-by-hour strip from your start time so you can see how conditions change during the session, wind speed and direction, rain chance, UV and more.
Weather for your planned outdoor workouts: open a session to see the forecast for exactly when you'll train (temperature, an hour-by-hour strip, wind, rain, UV). Planned workouts now also show fueling guidance (before, during, after). And you can tap "Ask Coach+ about this workout" to chat about a session with it as context — how to approach it, or whether to adjust for the weather.
Coach+ can now check the weather for your planned workout using your location, and factor it into its advice. Planned outdoor workouts show fueling guidance (before/during/after), and you can tap Ask Coach+ on a session to chat about it with that workout as context.

Faster, smoother home screen: fixed brief freezes that could lock up the app for a few seconds when opening your dashboard.
2026.6.41 25 Jun
Coach+ now runs on our streamlined coaching toolset for faster, more reliable answers. Max members can also connect IntervalCoach to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT (beta) — see Settings → Beta.
Coach+ no longer gets stuck on "Executing…" after you approve an action like adding a race. If a confirmation doesn't go through, the buttons come back so you can try again.
Fixed: when you ask Coach+ to adjust a workout in chat (add a set, change intensity, move a session), the Approve button now shows up reliably so your change actually applies.
2026.6.40 24 Jun
Your Daily Outlook now shows your full coaching read the moment you open the app, instead of a short generic line until you refreshed by hand.
Completed strength and gym sessions now show an estimated recovery time.
On an activity, swipe in from the left edge to go back to the previous screen.
Completed activities now show only post-workout nutrition advice, not the pre and during tips.
Readiness ring polish: the label stays on one line and the score breakdown reads cleanly.
2026.6.37 22 Jun
Behind-the-scenes reliability improvements.
Reliability work behind the scenes: better freeze and crash diagnostics so we can spot and fix any app slowdowns faster. No visible changes in this build.
2026.6.36 21 Jun
macOS: 'Manage on web' now opens your default browser instead of a second app window, 'Manage in App Store' opens the App Store subscriptions page, and the subscription help text no longer says 'iOS'.
• Apple Watch sync now keeps your interval structure, so sprint and interval sessions no longer collapse into one averaged block.
• Rides and runs synced from your Apple Watch now include power and cadence, not just heart rate and pace.
• Workouts you send to Apple Watch keep their heart-rate targets and no longer get an extra warm-up and cool-down added on top.
• Cadence targets now appear on the watch for cadence-focused steps like spin-ups and drills.
• The Calendar now starts each week on Monday, matching Intervals.icu.
2026.6.34 19 Jun
Recovery from a session now leads with when you'll be ready for your next hard effort and shows your own recovery curve, placed higher in the activity view. Saving your morning check-in now updates your readiness right away.
Activity detail: HR, power, speed, cadence and altitude charts, plus a power-curve with a fresh-vs-fatigued durability view. Pull down to refresh an activity.
Activity charts now scrub: drag across a chart to read the value at any point. HR/power/speed/cadence/altitude charts and the power-curve durability view.
• Apple Health-workouts syncen nu vanzelf op de achtergrond, direct nadat je klaar bent. Je hoeft de app niet meer te openen.
• Activiteitsgrafieken: sleep over een grafiek om de exacte waarde op elk punt te lezen.
2026.6.31 18 Jun
Added sleep quality, soreness, fatigue, injury and hydration to the daily check-in, fully translated and editable again. Dashboard now shows a readiness score with a tappable ring.
Daily check-in now lists all your fields cleanly down the card, with sleep quality, soreness, fatigue, injury and hydration fully translated and editable.
Daily Briefing now shows where today's recovery sits against your personal curve, and activity detail shows when you'll be ready for your next hard session.
The readiness score now appears right on your home and lock screen widget, and the motivation check-in matches the Intervals.icu scale.
The readiness ring's colour and label now match your final score band.
Activity detail now draws your personal recovery curve and shows the recovery card higher up.
