Getting started, and getting help. • Setup now finishes with your first thing to buy — the kitchen sink, the paint, the new sofa — so your project isn't empty when you land in it. • Renovating with someone? The project page now offers to invite your partner or contractor, instead of leaving sharing buried in a menu. • The "rate us" card no longer keeps coming back. Dismiss it once and it stays gone — and if the app does ask, it waits until you've just ticked something off your list.

A quieter app. • The app no longer interrupts you mid-task to ask what you think of it. If it asks at all, it now waits until you've actually finished something — a completed task or a finished project. • It also waits until you've lived with the app for a few days, instead of asking on your first afternoon. • Saying yes keeps you in the app instead of sending you out to the App Store.

Sharing, made easier to find. • Shared projects now show a banner on the project page — manage who you're sharing with, or see who's joined, without going through the menu. • If joining a shared project doesn't work, the app now explains why and what to do next, instead of showing a technical error. • Pasting a link to a project you already own now tells you it's yours and points you to sharing it instead.

A fresh new look. • Home Stories has a new app icon — a warm terracotta ground with a simple house — so it's easier to find on a crowded home screen. • The accent colour throughout the app has moved from the system blue to that same terracotta. Buttons, highlights, charts and progress rings now feel like they belong to Home Stories rather than to iOS.

Your budget now has a screen of its own. • Open any project's budget to see a burn-down chart of what you've spent over time, and a projection of where it lands if you carry on at this rate — "On track", "Heading over budget", or how far over you already are. • A "Paid so far" breakdown separates money that has actually left your account from what you're still committed to, and your biggest items are ranked so you can see what's driving the total. Payments you logged now count toward spending. • If you'd recorded a part-payment or an instalment against an item, none of it reached the budget — only items marked as bought counted at all. Every payment you've already logged starts counting on this update, so your Spent and Potential figures may shift to what they should always have been. Your total cost is unchanged. Put a price on your own time. • Give a project an hourly rate and the time you log against it feeds into the budget like any other cost. It's off unless you turn it on, per project, and you can set a different rate for a single session or mark one as unpaid. Smaller things. • The currency step during setup now starts from your device's region instead of preselecting US Dollar for everyone. • Setting up the app walks you straight into creating your first project, rather than eight pages describing one. • Fixed the review request reappearing every few minutes instead of waiting its turn.

Shared projects now stay in step — including the budget. • Change a shared project's budget, name, dates, priority or cover photo and everyone you shared it with sees it. Until now only items and tasks travelled; the project's own details — the "Budget vs. Spent" figures most of all — stayed frozen on the other person's device, with no sign anything was wrong. Projects that had already drifted apart correct themselves on this update. • Fixed a crash that closed the app when you deleted an item, task, note, document or time entry inside a shared project. The deletion did save, but the app quit on the spot. Plus stability fixes for deleting things while a project is syncing.

Shared projects finally arrive complete. • Everything that already existed when you shared a project — items, tasks, notes, documents and photos — now reaches the people you shared it with. Before, only things added after sharing came through, which is why collaborators sometimes saw different budget totals. Shares that were already broken repair themselves on this update. • Updates to a shared project can now arrive in the background, rather than only when you reopen the app or sync by hand. Pro is recognised the moment you launch. • If you own Pro, it unlocks on the first screen — no more briefly locked features, and no more sessions where sharing quietly stopped syncing while the app worked out what you owned. Onboarding has a way out. • "Skip for Now" now appears on every step, so you can jump straight into the app. Also: clearer wording about exactly what iCloud sharing does, and translation fixes across all 51 languages.

A sync fix that protects your edits. • iCloud sync no longer loses your edit when you and someone you share a project with change it at the same time. Your change is now merged onto the newest version from the cloud and saved, instead of being quietly dropped.

Project priorities, free item pricing, and a batch of sync fixes. NEW: PROJECT PRIORITY • Give each project a priority — Low, Medium, or High — and see it at a glance on the project card. • Your list now sorts by priority first, so the next thing to work on is always at the top. Prefer a different order? A new sort menu lets you sort by priority, start date, due date, or name, and it remembers your choice. • Widgets follow the same order. ITEM PRICES ARE NOW FREE • Add prices, payments, and installments to your items without Pro. A new Spending section shows what you've spent so far, and what your saved ideas would cost. • Budget targets and the budget-vs-cost chart remain part of Pro. FIXES • iCloud sync no longer deletes items that failed to upload — a brief network drop could previously destroy an item for good. • A document attached to an item is no longer destroyed when you delete that item, and the item it belongs to now syncs across your devices. • Pro now unlocks on your other devices as soon as you open the app — no restart needed. • Fewer budget prompts. 51 LANGUAGES, PROPERLY Every screen is now genuinely translated in all 51 languages — including Kannada, which was previously showing Malayalam.
