This update helps you: Find Chinese-learning videos faster Save useful videos for study Connect video content with your learning routine Practice Chinese with more relevant material We also made performance improvements and fixed small bugs.

Added Traditional Chinese display support, improved saved word and sentence dictionary popups, and refined Chinese segmentation and pinyin handling for a smoother study experience. Flashcards, HSK decks, and saved items now follow your selected Chinese script.

Improved transcript reliability for longer videos. Pinyin and word details now load more consistently around the subtitles you’re viewing, English translations better match the Chinese subtitle cards, and subtitle scrolling/play positioning is smoother.

What’s New in This Version: Added a guided onboarding flow for new mobile users. New users can learn the core workflow with a real video: play, save words, loop lines, change study mode, manage Saved, and review flashcards. The starter video library is now more reliable and remains available even when remote library updates change. New installs now start with an empty Recently Watched list until a video is actually opened. Improved onboarding guidance with highlighted controls and faster transcript loading for the onboarding video.
