This app contains daily readings from the Bible in a simple and interactive format. The readings have been part of the Orthodox Tewahdo Church since the early centuries of Christianity. Its contents have been preserved as is and are presented in a way that is understandable by all users, including the clergy and the laypeople. Its content is divided into four parts:
1. Today’s reading: contains the day’s reading.
2. Sunday of the week: includes readings for both the past and upcoming Sundays, along with Sunday hymns (Mezmur).
3. Whole year Sundays and Holidays: comprises readings and Mezmur for all Sundays and Holidays in the year.
4. Whole year daily readings: contains readings for any day of the year, regardless of whether it is a Sunday or another day.
According to Orthodox tradition, the content of this app is recited during morning (matin), Liturgy, and vesper praises. Additionally, this app can be used by any Christians as their daily spiritual nourishment. We hope this app serves as a source of inspiration and blessings.
