gazd is a local photo encryption tool. pick a key photo, pick a photo to hide — gazd seals it inside an ordinary emoji image using AES-GCM encryption from Apple's CryptoKit. share the sealed image and the key photo separately, however you want. AirDrop and file attachments work best — messaging apps re-encode photos and break the reveal. the recipient reveals the hidden photo inside gazd using the matching key. it's shown on screen only and never saved to their device. no servers. no accounts. no analytics. no tracking. nothing leaves your phone through gazd. for anyone who'd rather not route a private photo through someone else's server. gazd is free — if you'd like to support development, there's a tip jar in Settings. it unlocks nothing. karmic rewards not expressed or implied. disclosure summary: rated 13+. gazd has no in-app communication features and does not transmit user data. users are responsible for what they seal and how they share it. by using gazd you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
