Force Board app version 1.3 has several new updates, including
- Basic users (people who use the app for free) now have can see all of their past workouts on the Feed Screen.
- Rate of Force Development (RFD) is now automatically displayed for every rep you perform.
-- RFD is automatically detected during the first second of every rep, then the maximum RFD over all possible ¼ second samples is calculated.
-- RFD requires a Force Board device firmware update. This update increases the device sample rate to 40 Hz.
- The app now supports “Split Sets,” allowing users to perform single-hand repeaters on a given hold. As in, Left-Left-Left-Left followed by Right-Right-Right-Right.
- You can now save or discard partial routines.
- Routines are now captured fully and uploaded to the server at the end of the routine. This increases the responsiveness of the app during workouts.
- There is a double beep at the end of both the work and rest cycles to help signal the end of the current activity.
- Activities are now renamed from “Hang” to “Pull” since you pull on the device when recording a session.
- Bluetooth connection speed has increased.
- Start/Stop Threshold is now reliably applied.
- Many other bug and stability fixes.
