Erudity now speaks your language. The whole app is available in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese, alongside English. Every card, every button, and the fine print too. It follows your phone's language, or you can pick one in Settings. The tutorial has found a better home. The first time you open a stack of cards, it walks you through a swipe or two and then steps aside. If you are subscribed, Settings now shows your plan at a glance. New subjects get better-looking covers, and we fixed a long list of small things, including a crash while reading Deep Dives.

Erudity is now free to explore. You no longer need an account to start. Open the app, browse a shelf of ready-made subjects, and read as many cards as you like. Sign up when you want to keep your progress and save the cards worth remembering. Go further with a subscription for custom subjects, deep dives, and skipping past topics you already know. When you're ready, sign up in a tap with Google or Sign in with Apple, and everything you've already started comes with you. We gave the cards a little more life. As you swipe, the border and the hint pick up a colour for where the card is headed: orange for more on a topic, purple to move on. There's a soft glint when a card flips, and a burst of confetti when you reach a new level. Finished a subject? You can now page back through every card you read, on a redesigned wrap-up screen. We also tidied up the topic descriptions and freshened the suggestions on the home tab. Plus a long list of small fixes for a smoother run from your first tap to your first card.

Starting a subject now happens in three small steps: name what you're curious about, tell us how much you already know, and pick your topics before the first card. We rebuilt the interests screen around 18 clear areas, from history and science to gaming, fashion, and food. Tap the ones that sound like you, and we'll line up suggestions to match. Now you can pick your interests and run through a quick tutorial before signing up, so the app feels like yours from the start. When you're ready, continue with Google or Sign in with Apple. One tap either way. We also freshened up the suggestions on the new-subject screen and tidied how you sort your subjects. And we fixed a long list of small things: sharper layouts on smaller phones, streaks that count correctly, and a smoother run from signing in to your first card.
