Rock-Solid Live Camera
- We fixed an entire class of preview freezes that could happen when switching lenses, formats, or camera modes.
Session changes are now handled safely and never block the camera preview.
- Capture is hardened against crashes — if a RAW shot can't be taken, the app falls back to HEIF instead of failing,
and switching lenses no longer interrupts your session.

Smarter Alignment Engine
- The alignment system now produces a continuous confidence score for every warp instead of a binary pass/fail. HDR automatically discards brackets with poor alignment scores rather than using bad frames. Feature-Based alignment is now the default across all workflows for better accuracy on challenging scenes.
- Focus stacking alignment uses more GPU horsepower — CLAHE enhancement, feature orientation, sharpness filtering, and descriptor matching all run on Metal — cutting alignment time significantly.
Focus Stacking Quality Leap
- The wavelet focus-stacking path now uses Dual-Tree Complex Wavelet Transform (DT-CWT), which is shift-invariant unlike the previous Daubechies-6 approach. Ghosting and halo artifacts on high-contrast edges are substantially reduced.
Physically Correct Color in Every Workflow
- All seven computational-photography workflows (HDR, Focus Stacking, Motion Removal, Motion Blur, Motion Removal, Autostretch, Astro Stacking, and Alignment) now linearize the input working space before processing. Blending, averaging, and merging operations now produce physically correct results — improved shadow/midtone accuracy and more natural color in merged outputs.
- HDR gains per-channel camera response function estimation and recalibrated tone mappers.
Available in Six New Languages
- The app, settings, and documentation are now fully localized in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese.
