Quick Add, From Anywhere
The headline feature is a system-wide Quick Add panel that floats over any app you're working in. Trigger it with a customizable global hotkey (default: ⌘⇧Space), type your task, and hit Enter. Done. No switching apps, no breaking focus.
Smart Command Syntax
Power users can add tasks with due dates and priorities in one keystroke using natural syntax:
- "Submit report /tomorrow !high" → creates a high-priority task due tomorrow
- Prefix with /cl to route tasks to a specific list by name
Organize With Color-Coded Lists
Create as many checklists as you need — each with its own color and icon chosen from a curated palette. Switch between lists instantly in the sidebar. Your lists sync to your account so they're always up to date.
At-a-Glance Progress
Every checklist shows a live circular progress ring. Completed items slide into a "Completed" section with a running count, so you always know where you stand without counting manually.
Dark Mode & Themes
Checklist follows your macOS appearance automatically, with explicit Light, Dark, and System options in Settings. The interface uses native macOS materials throughout — it looks like it belongs on your Mac.
Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts
Every core action has a keyboard shortcut. The global Quick Add hotkey is fully configurable from Settings → Shortcuts — choose your own modifier and key combination. Input Monitoring permission is explained step-by-step in-app.
Account Sync
Sign in with Apple or email and your checklists are securely stored and synced. Sign in once and everything is there on any device you use.
