Camino Ninja App
Travel
Free · Designed for iPad
The bliss of having an easy and intuitive App for walking the Camino de Santiago.
Offline information about accommodation and routes along the Camino including exact distance and elevation calculations you need for your journey.
You can book accommodations easily through the app and a map is easy to use if you get lost along your pilgrimage.
more STABILITY
• Fixed the crashes responsible for most unexpected closures, on the trail list and on the map.
• Live GPS readings no longer freeze part-way through a walk. Distance from the trail, current elevation and the elevation-chart marker keep updating for the whole route.
SHARED PLANS
• Opening a shared plan link now works whether the app is closed, in the background, or already open on screen.
• If a shared plan needs trail data you don't have yet, the app tells you exactly which trails are missing and offers to download them, then finishes the import for you. Previously it could create a plan with no stages.
MAPS AND PLANNING
• Switch camino directly from the Map tab. Every other camino is drawn greyed out and tappable, and the list/map button is now a clear labelled control instead of a small corner icon.
• Trail search filters the map to your matches instead of highlighting every trail.
• Guided Journey: each camino now continues past its junction as a dashed line, run-through junctions pause and name the new camino, and your 2D/3D and north settings stick between steps.
• Journey planning now refreshes trail data that has changed, instead of failing with an unavailable message.
OTHER
• Accommodation review scores again show on their original 0-10 scale.

Magic Planner — a new way to plan
Tell us where you start and where you're headed, and Magic Planner walks the map with you. At every fork in the road it shows you the caminos ahead, how far the next decision is, and which way most pilgrims go — so you choose your route one junction at a time instead of guessing from a list. When you're happy, it becomes a plan you can save.
Plans without stages
Not ready to break your camino into days? Save the whole trail as a plan now and add stages whenever you like. Your distance and elevation are still there, and you can share it just like any other plan.
A redrawn map
We've rebuilt how the map draws your route. Route lines and place labels stay crisp at every zoom level, selected routes stand out clearly, and albergue markers now sit above the route line instead of hiding behind it.
Route tab fixes
Routes that join another camino part-way — like the Aqueduct Trail or the Ave Trail — now run all the way through to Santiago again, instead of stopping short.
A refreshed Plan tab
Your saved plans have a cleaner look that matches our pre-made plans, and each one now shows how far you've walked.
Also in this release
• Sharing a plan that hasn't synced yet no longer dead-ends
• Fixed a freeze when opening the elevation chart full screen
• Fixed crashes some of you hit on iOS when opening plan screens
• Save buttons no longer overlap the stage content
• Many smaller fixes across planning, maps and translations
Buen Camino!

• Search and filter pre-made plans by route
