Beatory

Anti-Drowsiness

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Worried about suddenly feeling drowsy while driving, studying, or reading? Then start Beatory's drowsiness prevention right now. Beatory does its best to help you stay awake while you're active. However, depending on individual differences and your condition that day, it may not predict drowsiness accurately. So please don't rely on it blindly—if you feel drowsy before or during an activity, we recommend taking enough rest. ■ How drowsiness prevention works It predicts drowsiness through heart-rate pattern analysis and AI learning. When there's a chance you may become drowsy within minutes, it alerts you in several ways. Even if you don't feel sleepy yourself, it may warn you of possible drowsiness. The goal isn't to precisely judge whether you're drowsy, but to help you stay awake while you're active. When a prediction is off, please actively leave feedback such as "drowsy" or "not drowsy." The more feedback accumulates, the better the drowsiness-prediction model becomes tailored to you. Using drowsiness prevention requires an Apple Watch, and you must allow access to "Heart Rate" and "Workout" in the Health app. ■ Beyond drowsiness prevention — check your health through your heartbeat Beyond drowsiness prevention, Beatory lets you check your own heartbeat and observe its trends. Even without an Apple Watch, you can measure your heart rate simply by placing a finger on your phone's camera, so anyone can get started easily. (Finger measurement is for reference and its accuracy is continually being improved.) Did you know you can gauge your health just by looking at changes in your heartbeat? Some studies even link heart rate to life expectancy. Beatory shows key indicators of your health from heart-rate data: · Heart Rate: the average of measured heart-rate data (BPM) · Heart Rate Variability (HRV): the standard deviation of measured data · RMSSD: the root mean square of successive differences between adjacent beats · pNN50: the percentage (%) of adjacent beat differences exceeding 50 ms In addition, more advanced metrics help you explore your autonomic nervous system and stress in depth: · SD1 / SD2 / SD1·SD2 ratio (Poincaré) · SDSD · CVNN · HRV Triangular Index · TINN · Respiration rate, Stress Index (Baevsky) · Frequency domain: VLF, LF, HF, LF/HF ratio, Total Power, normalized units (n.u.) For these indicators, the "trend" matters more than any single measurement. In Beatory you can view trends by day, week, month, and year—not only for heart rate, HRV, RMSSD, and pNN50, but also for stress index, respiration, SD1/SD2, and CVNN. You can also see your results at a glance through various charts: · Histogram · HRV Tachogram · RR frequency spectrum · Poincaré plot · Autonomic balance (LF/HF) · Stress-index gauge · A live heart-rate graph during finger measurement Each indicator comes with a "Learn more" explanation and links to trustworthy references (papers and professional organizations) so you can learn what the values mean. That said, Beatory simply calculates results mathematically from heart-rate data measured by Apple Watch or your finger. Beatory is not a medical device, and the values provided are for reference only. Therefore, please consult a medical professional when interpreting them. Manage your health with just 5 minutes a day. Protect your health while you still have it. ■ How to measure · Apple Watch: Measure using the "Mindfulness > Breathe" app, then import the results. To bring in data from the Health app, allow access to "Heart Rate Variability" and "Heart Rate." · Finger (camera): Gently place a finger over the rear camera lens to measure. Available even without an Apple Watch. ■ Supported languages Korean · English · Chinese (Simplified) · Japanese ■ About data storage Beatory is used without any sign-up, and your data—such as measurement results—is not sent to any server and is stored only on your device.

  • This app has not received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

• Added Simplified Chinese and Japanese (now 4 languages) • Improved finger-camera heart-rate accuracy + live heart-rate chart • Many new HRV metrics: SD1/SD2, CVNN, HRV Triangular Index, TINN, respiration, stress index (organized into Time/Frequency/Nonlinear) • New charts: Poincaré plot, autonomic balance, stress gauge • New trends for stress index, respiration and more (applied retroactively) • Richer "Learn more" guides with reference links for each metric • Auto-save of results; unified drowsiness result screen design • Usability improvements and bug fixes
