The bdwashdata app is a powerful and user-friendly mobile platform designed to support both public access to WASH information and secure field data collection for authorized organizations.
The app provides publicly accessible pages where users can view key Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) data, dashboards, and visual insights without requiring login. These public sections allow researchers, policymakers, development partners, and citizens to explore important WASH indicators, including arsenic monitoring dashboards, survey summaries, and other data visualizations presented through an integrated WebView.
In addition to public data access, bdwashdata includes secure functionality for authorized NGO employees who use the system for structured field data collection and management. These users log in through a protected admin section, with accounts created and managed by organization administrators via a web based admin panel.

Public WASH Data Access
View WASH dashboards, arsenic data, and survey visualizations and report facilities that are being currently tracked without login. Public users can explore real time insights immediately after installing the app.
Offline and Online Data Collection
Authorized users can collect WASH related data in remote and resource constrained environments. Data is stored locally on the device and automatically synchronized once internet connectivity is restored.
Geo Tagging and Mapping
Capture GPS coordinates for water sources, sanitation facilities, and hygiene interventions and other WASH infrastructure as setup by admins. Collected data can be visualized on interactive maps to support planning and decision making in the web admin panel
Real Time Data Validation
Built-in validation rules help improve data quality by reducing errors and ensuring consistent data standards across teams and locations.
Offline Forms
Continue collecting data without internet access during field visits.
Photo Documentation
Capture and upload photos directly from the field to document WASH conditions and infrastructure, adding visual context to monitoring and reporting.
Secure and Encrypted Access
All administrative features are protected with secure authentication and industry standard encryption. Only authorized users can access, edit, or sync data, ensuring data integrity and privacy.
The bdwashdata app does not include any in-app purchases or paid content. Public users can freely access available WASH data, while administrative and data collection features remain restricted to authorized NGO users.
