• Sharper vertical speed — optional INERTIAL VS uses the accelerometer alongside the barometer, so the VSI catches a climb or level-off about a second sooner. Off by default. • NAV2 guidance label — your active leg now shows at the top of the NAV2 map, with a handle to hide it. • X-Plane traffic fixes — no more blinking targets, all aircraft in a burst now appear, and Settings explains it when no traffic shows. • Easier user waypoints — save any point you tap on the map with a name, find your saved points under the new USER filter, and rename them from the WPT page.

Turn anticipation fix — DIRECT TO turn anticipation was computing the anticipation angle toward the previous destination instead of the new one; fixed. Map edge clipping — navaid glyphs near the edge of the map used to be dropped entirely instead of clipped, so a symbol just off-screen would pop in/out as you panned. SET page cleanup — fixed a settings-persistence bug on the SET page and extracted its row-building code for maintainability (internal, no user-facing change beyond the fix). Traffic default range — TFC RNG now defaults to 50NM. Traffic symbology — traffic targets now draw in cyan, panel type is uniform, vertical rate shown as a number instead of just an arrow. Unified round-button styling across the map, WPT tab, and FPL list (visual consistency only). RESET ALL SETTINGS — new factory-reset button on the SET page. Placeholder text color fixes (NO WAYPOINT SELECTED, NO GPS FIX, NONE FOUND now match NO FLIGHT PLAN's styling). Default lower tab bar order reverted to SIM-before-SET.

Version 1.7 — What's New Traffic (new) — Optional traffic display on both map pages, with ForeFlight-style symbology, trend vectors, colour-coded threat levels and relative altitude. Tap a target for callsign, distance, bearing, altitude, groundspeed and track. Off by default; enable under SET > TRAFFIC. Sourced from the crowd-sourced OpenSky Network — needs an internet connection, targets can be 5–20 seconds old, and aircraft without a transponder never appear. Advisory only, not a traffic-avoidance system. Steadier altitude and vertical speed — Fixed the fluctuating VS and altitude readings in the climb. Vertical speed now comes from the barometer alone, and the barometer/GPS altitude blend no longer varies with GPS reception. Barometric fusion is on by default, with new diagnostic data fields to compare the sensors in flight. Smoother GPS track — New SET > GPS SMOOTHING (OFF/LOW/MED/HIGH, default MED) settles position, ground track and groundspeed using a Kalman filter tuned against real turn and approach profiles.

Major new features - Visual Approach mode — 3° visual glidepath guidance (lateral + vertical) to a picked runway, for airports without an ILS. Activated via a button near the compass, opens a runway picker, adds a new vertical deviation gauge alongside the HSI. - Airspace boundaries, worldwide — Class B/C/D, Restricted, Military, and other airspace now drawn on the moving map (previously not shown at all), with per-category color/style and adjustable display ranges. Tapping a boundary now shows its name, class, and floor/ceiling limits, and highlights it in bold — reviewers may want to test this over a busy area (e.g. London TMA) to confirm it renders sensibly. - To-scale runway rendering — at ≤5nm map range, airport runways draw as real-world-scale, correctly colored (paved/grass) strips with identifier labels, including side-by-side rendering of genuine parallel runways (e.g. Heathrow's 09L/09R). - NAV1 mode — a second map view combined with a CDI arc display. - Unified WPT (waypoint) info page — one consistent screen for any waypoint (from the flight plan, NRST search, FIND WPT, or a map tap), with Direct-To, add-to-flight-plan, activate-leg, and remove actions. Map interaction changes - Continuous pinch-to-zoom (previously stepped only) and per-map AutoZoom that automatically tightens range on approach to the destination. - Tap now selects a waypoint or airspace boundary only; a long press drops a "+MAP" reference point — this replaces a plain-tap-does-everything model from the prior build, worth noting in case reviewers compare against an old screenshot/description. - Automatic label decluttering so overlapping waypoint labels don't collide at busy map ranges. - Own-ship track line (dashed leader line showing live ground track).
