Audio Fade In & Out Editor gives musicians, podcasters, video creators and anyone polishing a recording a simple, focused way to create clean, controlled fade-ins and fade-outs. Import your media, choose the exact section you want to shape, adjust each side independently and export a finished audio file without navigating a crowded production suite.
SHAPE THE RIGHT MOMENT
Start with an audio or video file from your files, or select a video from your photo library when you want to work with its sound. Audio Fade In & Out Editor inspects the source and shows useful details such as duration, file size and format before editing. Set the beginning of the working segment, optionally define a custom end point and keep the change limited to the part that matters. This makes it easy to isolate an introduction, ending, spoken passage, musical phrase or transition without changing more of the recording than intended.
CONTROL EACH FADE
Fade-in and fade-out timings are adjusted separately, so a clip can open gradually, finish quickly or use any combination that suits the material. Choose an individual curve for each side:
• Linear for steady level changes
• Logarithmic for a natural-sounding rise or fall
• Smooth for softer transitions
• Sharp for a more immediate change
Independent controls let you match each transition to the content instead of forcing both edges to behave in the same way. Use a gentle entrance for speech, a tighter finish for a short clip or carefully balanced fades for music and ambient recordings. You can refine the length and character of either transition while leaving the other side exactly as you want it.
USE GUIDANCE WHEN YOU WANT IT
Audio Fade In & Out Editor can analyse energy near the selected boundaries and suggest cleaner start and end positions. It can also recommend fade durations based on the character of the sound near each edge. These suggestions provide a useful starting point while leaving every decision in your hands.
Click protection can apply a small safety floor when a zero-length edge might create an audible click. You remain in control of the segment boundaries, fade lengths, curve styles and output choices. Adjust the recommendations, ignore them or refine the settings manually until the transition sounds right.
EXPORT WITH SOURCE-AWARE OPTIONS
Available export presets and file types are based on what the selected source can support. Choose an automatic compatible option or select from the formats presented for that media. Network optimisation is available when supported, helping you prepare a suitable file for efficient sharing or delivery without having to understand complicated encoding settings.
A clear progress view shows the render while it runs. You can cancel processing and safely start again if you want to revise the selected range or fade settings. When the result is ready, share it directly or save it through the standard file workflow. Your original source remains separate, so you can create another version with different timing, curves or output settings whenever required.
YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION:
- The first five successfully completed audio fades are included at no charge in total. Importing media, validation failures, cancellations, and failed exports do not use a fade.
- After the fifth completed fade, Audio Fade Plus requires a Yearly Subscription for additional fades. This auto-renewable one-year subscription unlocks unlimited fades while active.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation. The subscription renews yearly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel in App Store account settings.
- Restore Purchases is available in Settings for the Apple ID used to subscribe.
