  • The old version stopped working and the new version doesn't support my phone!

    The author has a very strange approach to updating the application. Each new version blocks the launch of the old one. At the same time, new versions do not support old phones. So the current version only works on 16+, and this version is not supported on iPhone 7. And as a result, I can no longer use the application. Wtf?

    Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately we're not able to support all iOS versions.Our most recent integration with Files is available only on iOS 16+: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/fileprovider/This forced us to drop support for anything older than iPhone 8.Our older releases work for a couple months after releasing newer version. Usually every new version contains feature & performance improvements and most notably security patches given that we're heavily focused on E2E encryption.We're really sad to hear that you're not satisfied even though your iPhone 7 is still fully functional device, but being a small team we're not able to overcome certain technical limitations.I know that my comment likely won't change your opinion, but I've thought it is worth to tell you a bit about challenges that we face as a development team.უღრმესი მადლობა
