Try it before you need it The last step of onboarding is now a live camera. Wait a few seconds, press record, then stop — and see for yourself: the clip you get is longer than the time you held the button. Nothing from that practice take is saved. Remember zoom Turn it on in Settings and the camera reopens at the zoom you last used, instead of snapping back to 1×. Settings, reorganised The controls you actually change sit at the top now. And tapping a switch works — until now only tapping the row label did. Diagnostics A new switch in Settings, on by default: anonymous crash reports and usage counts, so bugs get found before you have to report them. No personal data, and your video never leaves your device. You can turn it off at any time.

15|30 Pro — a one-time unlock • Set your own replay window, anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes, instead of the 15s and 30s presets. Off, 15s and 30s stay free, always. • Pay once. No subscription, no account. Capture presets • One tap for Light, Standard, Cinema, Smooth or Sport instead of picking resolution, frame rate and stabilization separately. • Sport uses maximum stabilization for handheld and on-the-move shots. Only presets your iPhone can actually deliver are shown. Fixes • Settings scrolls properly — the lower options were unreachable on some iPhones. • The flash button responds on the first tap, and now cycles Off → Auto → Torch. • A torch you switched on yourself is no longer interrupted while recording. • Fixed a state where the buffer controls stayed locked after a recording had already finished. • 15|30 now warns you and stops cleanly when storage runs out, instead of quietly failing.

Fixes and refinements: • Settings now scrolls. On some iPhones the panel was taller than the screen and the lower options could not be reached. • The flash button responds on the first tap. It now cycles Off → Auto → Torch, and Auto appears only on devices that support automatic low-light torch. • A torch you switched on yourself is no longer interrupted by the recording indicator, so your light stays steady in the shot. • Fixed a state where "Stop recording first" kept appearing after a recording had already finished, locking the buffer controls until the app was restarted. • Tap your custom duration a second time to edit it — no need to hit the small pencil icon. • The custom duration wheels now settle correctly after a slow swipe.

Control Center + longer buffers • Control Center — add the 15|30 control, then open the camera from anywhere (including the Lock Screen). Face ID or your passcode is required first, then the full app opens with HindSight armed. • Custom buffer lengths — pick 1–5 minutes in the dock, in addition to 15s and 30s • Buffer OFF and your preferred duration are remembered between launches Press record after the moment — the past is already in the buffer.
