I have tried many apps for Apple Watch for the purposes of following a marathon training plan. Many of these require an expensive subscription to follow a standardised plan. With Watchletic you can set up the workouts or plans you wish, including importing them from TrainingPeaks etc.. but more importantly than that is the watch face when you’re running.. this is configurable to your own requirements but also one of the easiest interfaces to read whilst running.Hats off to the developer of this app who has created a really user friendly product and not charging the earth for it.

What a beautifully written review and I’m so glad you enjoy the app, it means a lot!
Amazing for my running

Absolutely thrilled with Watchletic! I’ve been using this app nearly every day to track my running sessions. It syncs brilliantly with my Train As One calendar, which means as soon as I fire up the app on my Apple Watch, I’m all set with my day’s workout, complete with voice notifications and all the stats I could possibly need. I used it for my recent half marathon where I could upload the route map and set my splits and goal time for perfect pacing. It’s like having a Garmin. While it does cater to other sports, I’ve stuck with running for now. I genuinely couldn’t manage without it! The modest fee is a small price to pay for such functionality. Plus, the developer is incredibly supportive and responsive to feedback. Highly recommend!

This app is just perfect. With a triathlon training plan on TrainingPeaks, I am now able to follow every structured workouts of my plan directly from my Apple Watch, and export back to TP for analysis. The UX/UI is well designed and the customer service is just amazing! Worth every penny

Finally an app that integrates with TrainAsONE, and a damned good one at that. Shame it’s a subscription as I’d rather be able to buy it outright, but oh well
