As with all things online these days there seems to always be wrong’uns about. However compared to other platforms that shall Remain nameless, There seems to be a really healthy source of users and communities on Threads. And the conversation is better than anywhere else. Maybe it’s just my algorithm at the moment but it does seem to better for your mental health than many of the other top platforms. Thank you threads. Keep it up.

Left X a few years ago for this, and the raw connections have kept me here. The photography community is unreal, so genuine, supportive, and respectful of boundaries. Giving it 4 stars because it’s 2026, and while new AI platform features can definitely make the experience smoother, they shouldn't kill the real, no-frills community that makes this app special. Keep it authentic and it's a 5/5.

I have to say that I’m impressed with this app, it’s a really good way for finding connections with people who have similar interests to you. I hardly get any interaction on Instagram, but here wow, my phone kept blowing up…and for someone like me, just starting out with social media this is really helpful.
