The 3D option is really helpful for those planning inclines in their layout. It would be great if the 3D view showed everything you add to your layout. But again the main purpose of this app to help you plan your layout. I had trouble buying the app in the UK due to Apple forcing some EU Banking regulations. My bank kept declining the transaction. Finally, Apple Support suggested buying an Apple Gift Card to buy the app, and it worked. Thanks to Jan for the awesome support while I was trying to figure out how to buy the app.

The application is generally ok - loads of track options and libraries. Drag and drop placement but there are real usability issues around placing items precisely. For example, creating a baseboard of a specific size and setting its position to (0,0) and locking the layer.(Also a bug in the add / subtract layer buttons in the display). Adding items to another layer and shifting them around also shifts the baseboard layer origin. I’m trying to add batons to my baseboard in positions that aren’t going to interfere with the designed track layout - specifically points / turnouts as I will be mounting point motors beneath the baseboard. Its a real pain to place items a specific points. Just doesn’t work - it would be good to have a snap to grid option and be able to specific the granularity of the grid to aid this. Switchable by layer of course. Also, locking the layer should prevent ANY changes to the layer contents including positions.
