Ok, but could do better as my old school reports used to say. Like most dating sites the distance area to your postcode is naff. Clearly people nearer but it chooses to ‘hide’ them. Like within 15 miles I have 5 towns and many villages. Yet nobody shows after swiping left on one or two ( that often don’t match my settings either) -Highly unlikely!. You only have the option of ‘Liking’ or skipping. Would be helpful if there was a ‘maybe’ pile that could be formed. It’s free so better than most, unless you pay to see ‘likes’ which would save much time. I also don’t always get notified by email that I have a new message, which doesn’t send the other person a good impression. I’ve also been told that they sent a message & then noticed it had disappeared when later logging in again, which explains why I never got it so couldn’t and didn’t reply back!!.. Not very helpful! Good luck, it’s a fickle online shopping world!
Not a real dating app. Just a data mining scam

I went thru all the process to make an account, uploaded pictures and everything. Then the account got locked and demanded my mobile number. Last time i used my mobile number on a dating app I WAS CALLED REGARDING A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT I NEVER HAD FOR 4 YEARS. So giving my mobile to a dating app is out of the question. But my account is locked and hijacked and i cant do anything. I contacted their Customer Care Joke (it cant be call a service so ill call it what it is, a joke) explaining everything and they replied with a copypasted template on how to delete an account from inside the account. Totally ignoring i said its locked. When replying to that email to explain myself again, they ignored me like a dog. This people is just interested in stealing your data to sell later. And your data without a mobile is useless so they will hijack your account until you give them the mobile, even if its just to delete the account they still want the mobile to sell your data. Thanks to iclouds hide my email feature this crooks dont have my email address and i used a fake name and fake date of birth so at least i know they will earn nothing for my data. The problem is now they have a hijacked profile with my pictures in their app and they wont ever remove it, and will forever use my image without my consent. Lesson learned: when registering for a dating app always use A FAKE PICTURE until you get to see how the app really works. If you are pleased with the app, then remove the fake picture for a real one and start swiping. If the app is a scammer trap like this one, at least they wont have your pictures.

The OkCupid app is great for creating a detailed profile. it requires answering over 500 questions on top of writing additional information. However, I have serious doubts about the authenticity of the user base. I suspect a significant portion of the profiles are managed by OkCupid employees who are pretending to be regular users. My reasoning is based on a consistent pattern of behaviour they like profiles, initiate chats, and then suddenly ghost or stop responding. If these are genuine users, then I strongly suggest the company change its algorithm to either remove or temporarily restrict access for users who repeatedly do this. While this might seem like a silly request, it would save a lot of time for people who are genuinely looking for a connection. Some times It feels as though the company is just trying to attract more users by showing that there are countless active profiles on the platform. Another issue I've noticed is that people on this app frequently switch their location. I find this strange and wonder why they would do this if they are truly looking for a genuine connection.

I subscribed for a month. I liked it at first. Then I disconnected for few weeks and subscribed for another month again. I noticed few negatives: 1) I hope you make the app. only paid. Yes. Free subscription collects non-serious creepy people. Plz. if u care about quality and not only quantity, close free memberships. Only paid memberships should be allowed. 2) The quality of matches is much lower than before. 3) used to be able to bring a profile back if I passed it by mistake by shaking my mobile. This feature stopped working. It is IMPORTANT. 4) Chatting is so slow. 5) It would be good to be able to customise search (my ideal person) by job. Some ppl. really looking for matches working in certain fields. 6) The filter is not effective. For example, if I choose my ideal person to be of specific religion, I still get matches out if scope. Plz. make the app respect my scope to save me time and effort. 7) It would be better if I can specify which countries exactly I need to search from rather than distance. Currently, If want from anywhere except few countries which I am not interested in, and I know will cause me spam, how can you help me get out of this?
