Initial setup was confusing. The app got stuck in a “Choose your coverage” loop despite my Apple subscription being active. The issue was resolved after recovering and signing into my original Garmin/iCloud account. I believe the app could better handle multiple Garmin accounts or provide a clearer explanation instead of leaving users stuck. Email support was responsive and helpful. Once resolved, the app worked as expected.

I’ve been fishing for over a year now, I never get any Sea Bass more than 60cm long I meet a guy who use this app and he took me to a location that I never expected, and I got my first ever 80cm long Sea Bass, But the guy was using this app to mark his location! I start using it as well and it always works, I can’t recommend this app enough!! Who ever is behind this app must be super genius 💪

I purchased Navionics last week as a subscription through the App Store. I log in, and immediately it asks me to subscribe. I follow the link, choosing the correct chart for where I am in the uk, and a pop up says I am already subscribed. So I click Ok, the chart appears, then immediately the subscribe window appears and I can’t access the charts, or settings, or anything. This endless loop has been going on for days, and support has now fallen silent. I’ve tried multiple reinstalls, phone off and on, checked my login is the same as the account email, and it just doesn’t work. So next step is getting a refund since Navionics are unable to help me and provide a simple working app that recognises a subscription. It has to be an app issue when different steps say I’m not subscribed, then I am, then I’m not. So 1 star it is, since I can’t even see the charts I’ve paid for.

For years I have asked for simple feature requests from Navionics to include the following but my requests have fallen on deaf ears making me think as an end user that Navionics do not value their customers:1. To allow the name of user waypoints, to be overlaid on the chart like other better apps do instead of just an icon.2. To identify the source of NMEA depth to show if it is “Depth below keel” or “depth below transducer” (important for navigational safety)3. To be able to create a route from a list of user waypoints and be able to search and add the waypoints to an existing route.4. To allow wind angle, wind speed and boat speed fields to be overlaid as NMEA data fields in the app.All entirely possible but protectionism in the market place and arrogance torwards their customers seems to be preventing them adding these featureUpdate - I won’t hold my breath
