This game took all the good things from most merge games, and added even more things, with lovely illustrations and animations, put the player in a journey. It WAS a joyful experience....... 10 days later I'm close to quitting and uninstalling after lack of energy points to continue the game and cans to progress. Way too hard to get items. Not balanced. I regret opening it daily for a mere 30 seconds of gameplay. Urrrhh Pitiful. No long life run of gameplay here, you get it ALL in the first few hours. So Annoying, I want my time back! Or just provide more reasons to bother with the game??? If not, bye bye. This was promising to be SOOOO good but I can't justify the lag of a reward vs love, attention and activity. No.

If you have 5 minutes to spare this is the game for you. It actually takes longer for the game to load and get through a multitude of ads than to actually play the game. Basically you get 100 merging energy and 50 game play energy. In the game play mode you can probably get through 2 or maybe 3 if you are lucky then your 50 energy is gone so you need to get Lee by merging items on the main board. The issue with this is that if anything needs an item merged up to the 6th level with your 100 energy you can probably do this twice and then the game is over. You can drag it out by having it use 1 energy at a time (you can choose it to use 1,2 or 4 energy each go) but what’s the point you just want to complete tasks to get energy for the game play. Once that’s done you can use gens to buy more energy however in this game you don’t win a lot of gens, usually when you stick pile gems in a game to the max amount before cashing in it gives you a 100 gems ( I play a lot of merging games) but this only gives you 20 (I think) and it’s 10 gems to replenish your energy. They sometimes have a second board going on, which I don’t actually see the point in as it says you win valuable prizes for the main board but you rarely do so if you want to replenish your energy there also that’s another 10 gems. Usually I replenish once or twice on merging games but you just don’t have the opportunity to win enough gems to do this. I’ve played this game for about a month to see if it gets better but it hasn’t so unfortunately I’m going to have a break and maybe one back in a month or two and see if anything has changed.

Great game, however the amount of energy given only allows you to move maybe 1 or 2 steps forwards. It can easily take up to 100 energy to move a few steps forward. I have thrown enough money at this to try and have continued game play, buying enough energy levels to allow me to play. I’m done now, I’m not wasting anymore money on this game. It’s clearly designed to make you keep spending if you want to play for a decent amount of time. While I’m not opposed to in-game purchases, it should be a fair balance.Update: Thanks for your response, but it just crashes and goes back to my main screen, therefore no screenshot would demonstrate this. I have in fact stopped playing this game now, as it’s a bit ridiculous that you have to keep spending money to get anywhere in the game in a reasonable time.

Love this game. However only 4 stars as I think that the number of energy you get for both parts of the game isn’t enough. The energy you often need to remove something is quite high ( eg 45) and you only get 50 so 1 press and you have to wait for it to refill. The same with the energy for merging things soon goes down. Ok you have in app purchases but not everyone can afford these. And you have quests to do to receive energy but if you haven’t enough energy to start with it’s taking a long time just to complete an island.
