I have played LM for years now & I won’t be stopping anytime soon. I have ranged from being a P2P player to a F2P player. Either way it works, one just takes a little longer but you can easily keep up with the P2P players if you put in enough effort. There is something for everyone on LM. You can be a farmer, a rally filler, a rally lead, an events player, a DN lead, a solo player, a guild (in a team) player, a monster hunter wizard or a little bit of everything! There are so many different events now too! My personal favourite is Guild Fest & I hate the Chaos Arena with a passion, its a nightmare & just pure anxiety because there needs to be more arenas then there currently is. I do suggest new players do a little research on YT as it really does help. I do wish that you didn't have to buy a £99 pack to be able to gift items to other players but by now there are enough players in the game able to do this that its not a must anymore! I think my experience may differ from others as within my 1st week I was voted to be the new leader of my guild, we became like our own little family & helped each other in more than just game sense & eventually merged with some friends in another guild to help with certain events & to keep up activity. I will say if your female (like me) it will go 1 of 2 ways when you mention it (or like me, its obvious with the gamer tag). You will either get a lot of love or a whole lot of hate. There is no in between unfortunately, but just find the people that are good to you & remember the block feature is your friend! Everything has good & bad sides but the good out weigh the bad when it comes to LM! I suggest you go try it today! You wont be sorry 🥰

This is a great game once you have understood how to play it. There are many different ways to build your base, however, unless you join a helpful guild who will put in time to support you, you will spend real money getting nowhere.The support system isn't very good. Twice I had cause to speak with the support team but they were not helpful at all. In fact I gave up asking for help.The game uses many different supplies to grow: Using gems, silver coins, gold, energy, ore, food, timber, stones etc, means you need to benefits the benefits of each. What I am saying is don't expect to start playing and understand it within a few hours. It takes days or even weeks.You really do not need to spend real money, however if you want to ensure you buy a pack that fits what it is you are trying to do. The game offers way too many packs to buy which seems to be there to confuse the customer rather than to help. I personally go for gem packs because they speed the game up.I would definitely recommend this game however do not rush into spending your own money until you know the basics of the game!

Higher level players literally rule Lords Mobile, As soon as your shield goes down, your dead. There is no passive mode which protects you as soon as you stop going PVPing for a few days, superior players can just loot you (raiding your castle) for as many times as they want without cool down or limit which is annoying because I lose a lot of my progress in terms of defence and army. Since players can raid you how many times, you can get constantly looted if your a noob which is a serious disadvantage because it makes the game much harder to progress.And the fact that grinding is too slow means that you have no way of defending yourself against other players since the upgrades for your army takes a long time and almost useless, it is also too slow for new players to create armies for themselves since you have to rely on speed ups and gems since it takes a long time to train soldiers compared to the tryhards who spend long enough in this game to spend upgrades quicker and build an army faster which is a serious disadvantage also to new players. Also gaining more shields means you have to spend more guild coins and too much gems to a point you are given too much pressure since it is hard to progress which does not help you at all.If there was some kind of passive mode which prevented players from attacking your castle when you did not do PVP for a certain of time or a game mechanic which limits the number of attacks to a specific castle then this game could’ve been much easier.

Starting off is fine with a good game concept and no need to spend any money. However after spending a year on the game to get to castle level 25 there is a major pay wall. This all starts with level 25 buildings (max level) not only do you need to upgrade every building to level 25 so you can upgrade your research building but some of the required buildings require lots of items which can only be bought with gems. At first it doesn’t seem too bad as you only need a couple of items to upgrade the buildings but then it starts using hundreds and thousands of the items which costs a lot of gems which ultimately forces you to buy gems unless you wait a few months to maybe afford the next upgrade. Even if you manage to get all these buildings to level 25 then you can start upgrading the research building so you can max out your troops. But these troops have a very high cost and upkeep which simply isn’t worth it compared to the lower tier troops which just gives massive disappointment.Overall I think this game has a good concept but the developers are just too greedy and doesn’t care about the end user (such as the bad support and huge paywalls) not to mention there is a pop up with a 2 second delay which has a buy button right where your bottom information bar is which is commonly clicked on first to do quests and look in the mail at activity. This can cause someone to accidental buy a pack worth upwards of $100 if they have instant pay turned on with no way to refund because of the bad support. I honestly think that 2 stars is too generous for the game but the start of the game is pretty enjoyable.
