who is the best in math me!
i really enjoy on how the app is designed simplistically to the point where users can navigate themselves through lessons easily and effectively. i also appreciate on how you added the flashcards feature because usually when im studying i prefer using flashcards.but id also consider maybe adding a chatting space where you can talk to an AI once you reach a certain level. in some instances however, people may not like to talk to AI because of environmental damages and it may have errors that cause people to learn wrong grammar, wrong spelling etc. so it is something to consider and maybe if you do add this feature, you can add something in the settings which enables and disables the AI chat feature with a pop-up once you reach a certain lesson. it would be very nice as well to have a sort of essentials page with names of the months and also maybe numbers going from 1-100. as im taking cebuano i really love how apps like these are doing their best to also focus on dialects. i love the app!

I’m so glad I came across Ling. I’ve been looking for an interactive language learning app to learn Lithuanian for quite some time and this is the best (and only) platform there is. Whilst I have been enjoying this app there are a few issues that could be improved.1. Not enough content - I subscribed to the yearly plan to gain the free trial and unfortunately I will have to cancel and sign up monthly because there is nowhere near enough content to last me six months never mind a year. Lithuanian is one of the hardest languages to master for an English speaker and I think there definitely needs to be more than 6 lessons in each unit OR alternatively change the lessons up each time. When I revise a lesson it’s the exact same sentences in the exact same order. 2. It’s not difficult enough - the questions are always the same and it doesn’t challenge me enough. In a single unit I’ll be asked for the same translations multiple times over. ‘I eat rice’, ‘the boy eats soup’. Realistically I feel the sentences should develop overtime and change things up. I don’t have to think about the answer at all because I know it’ll be the same as the past 3 times.I think there should be a few questions where you don’t get multiple choice and you have to write in the translation yourself, other language apps have this and I find it to be the most challenging.I’m not too far into my progress with ling but I know I’ll learn a lot and hopefully they continue to improve it 😊

Learning Thai with Ling is good, but has some notable flaws, which you can overcome, but shouldn’t have to. For a start Thai is more gendered than English, with different words for “I am” depending on your gender. This is not explained in the presented examples which can lead to puzzlement until you work it out, and the different genders also use different modifiers at the end of phrases, but again this is not explained, and as such you blithely learn the phrases taught, only later to realise that, as a man, you have been speaking as if you are presenting as female. Apparently this is a known flaw, but has not been corrected, or even an explanatory note added as a placeholder, which is poor. That being said, once you overcome that flaw and make allowances the app is fun, and allows you to progress with lessons at your own speed and go back and do them again and again, getting better each time as your bemusement gives way to a degree of understanding.

The app provides high quality education to an extent with the comprehensive activities it provides to learners, however i believe the activities themselves are fairly insufficient and extremely repetitive. The repetitiveness is beneficial but only to a certain threshold where you’re are still left wondering about certain grammatical inquires etc.Things they should add to vastly improve the app : 1) Add a section where students can free write in whatever language a student is studying and have a marking feature that shows when you are incorrect in any way grammaticaly, vocabulation wise etc.2) Add a vocal studying section, where students have the ability to practise pronounciation and fluency, which is arguably the most detrimental part of learning any new language and it would seriously seperate Ling from other language learning apps massively.3) Make the examinations at the end of each lesson much longer and more versatile with the questions being asked to students. I feel as if the questions are so predictable and repetitive which really limits the learner from absorbing the necessary information and questioning (that they would occur in a real scenario speaking whatever language) that is needed in order to acheive true fluency.Other than that so far so good,All the best to the team.
