I played this game a bunch as a kid and came back to it recently. I love that there’s an app now and the ui is so similar between the app and the browser. However it does miss out on some browser features that are very useful like BLUP breakdown when you hover over the bar. There is an issue with freezing hence only four stars. I have noticed on iPhones if you accidentally pull the lock screen down when playing, the app will freeze and needs restarting. A minor nitpick but it gets annoying haha. But apart from that, I love it and am happy to be back in the Howrse community 🐴

Just wanted to say before I start the review that they have recently fixed the tutorial bug because loads of people were complaining about it and if you create an account online rather than on the app then you can log on to that account on the app (for those who weren’t able to log in online with an account created on the app).I really love this game and would definitely recommend it to everyone that loves horses. I think you should be able to access your equestrian centre (if you have one) from the app, also I haven’t EVER seen any ufos on the app! I like the fact that you can just play and it doesn't press you to buy stuff.

I used to play this online probably about 10 years ago but stopped playing as would use my phone instead so when I saw it pop up as an app I thought I’d download it. The game is still enjoyable to become the best breeder however I’ve found a few things:• you can’t merge app and computer accounts... I’ve tried logging in on computer and says I need to make a new account • you can’t get a job and earn money on the app• certain parts of the app tell you you can’t play it in app and have to go on classic mode• as long as I’ve been playing it on the app I haven’t seen any ufos with ageing points appear • the event isn’t very clear either I don’t findThere’s a couple more bits that aren’t the same but not game changing. My only other recommendation is if there’s any way they can get the game to carry on longer... I’m sure I used to sit there for hours a day looking after my horses, however now once there fed and they’ve gone to bed there isn’t much else to do.
New UI is not playable

Gave the new update a chance but I hate it. I’ve returned to this game many times before with new accounts after inactivity on previous ones and never had a problem catching back up but this new interface has ruined the entire experience. It crashes constantly and I have to restart the game, everything is tiny and it’s so much more tedious than before. I’m not a desktop player and that’s what I loved about the mobile version, it was different and suited many players. Hopefully the developers can make it an option to switch between the two versions or just undo the update entirely but I don’t have much hope for that and may just put the game down and never return which is such a shame.
