HiPaint was really fun. I got to make pretty good artwork and it’s really like procreate. Unfortunately, there is one problem. It’s that when I go on HiPaint for some reason it comes up with an ad and then there’s a button called open store I clicked it and then it sent me back to HiPaint like nothing happened. which was really weird, but overall hiPaint is a really good app if you want a free version of procreate

This is because of stroke stabilisation, drawn by a string. This is a priceless tool that is better than any other stroke stabilisation method, but it is so hard to find.Procreate used to have this form of stroke stabilisation but removed it, which made precision very difficult and wasted my time.Dear HiPaint Team, please don’t ever remove this priceless feature! My shaky hands and slippy pencil grip thank you dearly!!!

So this app immediately caught my eye and when I started drawing my first portrait it was AMAZING! But the thing that kinda annoys me is that the pigment on the pencil texture is so grey when it’s black, when I used my finger it was way thicker and pigmented but when I used my Apple Pencil it gived off more of a realistic pencil vibe which I find cool but the I have to press down so hard just to get a pigmented black.

Just bought myself an iPad and after watching a review thought I would give it a go. Wow. Super intuitive UI. My experience with art programs and apps is there is always a learning curve. But this app is so smartly designed. Only used it a few days but have nothing to complain about so far.
