Because the way WhatsApp works, this app has to work by using the WhatsApp Web protocol. There are a few annoying interface elements which really need to be addressed wit haven’t as yet. The most important annoyance that needs removing is the need to tap twice in certain areas of the interface. For example, taping on a conversation on the list on the left will highlight it but not display the conversation. The user has to tap once again just to get what they tapped for in the first instance. These type of oversights make no sense and are counterintuitive. But then, until someone else makes a more intuitive WhatsApp compatible app, this app is the only choice there is. I hope they put some effort into streamlining the experience so it behave more like the official WhatsApp on a phone.

All iPad apps suffer from the limitations of simply being a wrapper around WhatsApp web access: and in mobile that means both your phone and your iPad have to have connectivity, at the same time, or nothing much will work (and sometimes establishing that connectivity is pretty slow). That said - and given that I’m not a prolific WhatsApper, although I do use it every day - I find this one pretty good. Its interface is straightforward, the ads are non-intrusive, and unlike most it allows you to put new lines into messages - ENTER doesn’t equal SEND. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now: if I don’t identify any hidden pitfall soon, I’ll pay to have ads removed, not because they’re a problem but more because I think it’s an app worth paying a couple of quid for.

It's fast, never been slow. Super easy to send pictures and videos, better than messenger for sure! I use FaceTime video all the time and calls, which a also very good. Sometimes the quality gets low and slow but then again so does Skype! Honestly so smooth to use, you can personalise your wallpaper, and save certain messages as well as re read old messages fast! The pics and vids also can automatically save to your camera roll on your phone which I love! And the quality of the picture stays the same! Such a great app, shame not a lot of people use it..!

It does what it said, but some functions are not functioning properly as they should when compared to the WhatsApp's Web itself.For example;1. Tapping the down arrow to reply certain messages proofing difficult. As it is not very responsive when compared to the actual WhatsApp's web. It take serval attempts to get that working. 2. Some voice messages come through to this app takes forever to load.3. The notifications wise, I couldn't get the badge icon to work. So when there is a new message comes through, I can only relying on my phone.4. Read some of the reviews in here, some users mentioned about using this app to helps reducing the amount of data uses either roaming or home. This app doesn't do that, as the mobile has to be on and connected to internet in order to sync the messages from what's app to this app. Therefore, you are actually using mobile data on both devices, if you have mobile data on both devices. Unless your iPad is a wifi only or both your phone and iPad connected to wifi.Overall, this app does come in handy depending on needs and this is a what's app web, but some functions are not functioning properly when compared to the actual app and what's app web.
