Had a good rating how long ago I don’t know. Tried to track family flight but system was not updating information. It said update was every 15 minutes, three hours and 40 later still plane has not moved but we know different. They have been in the air for 3 hours and 40 minutes. So, use the old tried and trusted method, get your love ones to call as they are boarding, ours did. Happy tracking!

Using it to track an arrival tonight. The flight is delayed by 30 mins. The live update has told me it’s landed before it’s taken off. I’ve just received a notification telling me it’s landed at 21:03, 33 minutes late. Great. Except it’s 20:08 at the moment. Absolutely totally inaccurate. Yet viewing the flight in the app it shows mostly correct details. Except the status is Landed when it hasn’t departed. Ho hum.Thanks for the response - but this isn’t just a problem with the live departure tracking. I was getting notifications the flight had landed at a time in the future when it was still in mid-air. Repeatedly. In the past these notifications had operated correctly. Not any more.

Unfortunately, the real-time update functionality only works for departures as we have yet to introduce the part to continue updating the lock screen after the departure. This is something we are working on improving and hope to have available in the next app updates. Purchased this app a few days ago & initially it worked okay. Tried yesterday to track a relatives flight from Italy to U.K but after saying the plane had departed there was no flight movement showing. What was posted up was "This information is out of date. This generally means that that the information has not yet been updated by by our data provider. This could take up to 15 minutes." This did not happen & a couple of hours later it informed me the flight had landed even though it was still showing at the departure airport. Think maybe this could turn out to be a bad buy.

Great for showing delays

I was very impressed with this app on a recent flight that was delayed. The airport screens continued to show the original take off time in spite of us knowing there was an hour delay (or more). The airport website also didn’t show any information. However this app was showing they expected take off time and it changed a couple of times during the evening so it looks like it’s continually tracking the time. It even comes up as a notification on the lock screen. It alerts you to both take off and landing times so that’s also useful if you’re meeting someone at an airport. I’m very impressed and will use this app for all future flights.
